I like the yellow armband idea.
If you're caught cheating/diving, retrospectively or on the day, then in your next match you have to wear a yellow armband that shows you cheated. If you get booked for simulation in that match, you're off. They won't take long stopping then.
not a bad idea, im sure there are loads of things that they could come up with instead of nothing.
if they took a firmer stand on the lack of respect to refs, diving and i even think players should be suspended when causing intentional bad injuries for the length of the players injury but its easier to do nothing so it wont change.
I sympathise for players who will try to avoid being clattered or possibly injured and get mistaken for diving but things like no contact then claiming for pens or like ashley young standing on the defenders foot then throwing himself like there was an explosion is rediculous. The pressure should be on the refs to take action on real fouls or the F.A to retrospectively act on players fouling that wasnt punished or not punished effectively.
