I have the rafastapo stalking me.

Grab a shovel and start digging.

The internet never forgets a muppet.

There is no way Ronaldo is in my team. Good player but as Dunphy says, he's a disgrace to the game.

I want men in the team.

So I'll stick Babel there.

Never knew you were a closet manc.

I stand by what I said in 2008. He was a diving c*nt who played for the mancs. And he was a disgrace.
That was nothing to do with how good he was when he played football
He isn't so bad now though.

Maybe Alonso has better attributes than Barry (in some cases), but the long and short of it is, we've won fuck all for two years, so there needs to be change.

Last season wasn't good enough.

Alonso is expendable.

Let's see what a new player can do within the team.

Benitez was ready to sell him. I said it earlier, season 2 and 3 Alonso was expendable. It took the Barry saga to kick him into shape.

I have no problem with Dunphy saying what he says. I have heard him talking about the mancs, Arsenal, Chelsea in the same way when they underperformed or are going through a crisis.
It is all entertainment anyway. I might not agree with what he says, but I prefer that to sitting on the fence like the BBC or ITV analysts.

Go ahead and stalk some more or get yourself a life.

Three very bitter people there. Fairly sure they are three failed managers as well . The way they talked about Benitez is terrible . Gerrard a nothing player says it all really .

Gilsey and Brady were awesome players, but yeah, never did much in management.
Dunphy was just a journeyman player, which he regularly admits to.
Gilsey in particular is treated like some kind of football guru over here in Ireland, but he doesn't half come out with some shite on a regular basis.
He's still stuck in the 70s and thinks the game hasn't moved on since then.
They do make for entertaining viewing compared to the muppets on the beeb, but some of their anti-Rafa stuff was ridiculous.
Occasionally they'll be complimentary, for example, when the mancs got rolled over by barca in the CL final, dunphy said they wouldn't have rolled Liverpool over like that, but it could also be viewed as his way of saying Liverpool were solid and organized under Rafa, but dull to watch.
He has also been quite complimentary toward Gerrard on a number of occasions.
But they basically sound like 3 fellas you'd hear in a pub as often as not.

Alfonso Dunphy has no posts bigging up the spring of 2009. None. While the rest of us we sticking out our chests and roaring down the stretch, Alfonso Dunphy did not shupport when it counted.

Agree with Ronaldo being a disgrace and I wouldn't have wanted him near us either. Also agree with Alonso getting kicked back into life when he realised that he wasn't wanted after he didn't come back after injury.

I remember the RTE panel constantly leathering Rafa. Whelan being the worst of them. But here's the thing... I watched match of the day last week. I can't even remember what game was on. It was a nothing game, between 2 mid table teams. I really should have remembered the game, but my point is... as the ball got knocked round midfield, the commentator constantly ohhed and ahhed down the microphone as if at the point of orgasm, then started screaming like an hysterical Tom Cat on heat when a simple tap was put into the net.
No doubt, the RTE panel used to love sticking it to Rafa. But why... it's just the world we live in now. It's manufactured sensationalism. These pundit fellas aren't particularily bright. It's like a runaway train. Once something starts to roll, they all jump on the band wagon. Reasoned thought and realism is very rare and has fuck all to do with football reporting today.

I meant to pop this in before about Whelan, Houghton and Souey to a lesser extent regarding their aversion to Rafa. I can't remember where I read it, it may have been a  Dion Fanning article, but  Rafa's well documented vocal displeasure with our youth set up pissed of the lads mate Steve Heighway.  As we know now tt obviously didn't end well for steve as McParland was brought in as his replacement. But I remember the shite Whelan was spouting definitely got more vehement as over Rafa's last couple of seasons, which would have been when Rafa had binned Heighway.

Seriously, this tread can be locked soon.

A lot of focus is losing and fans here have started to become critical on the rights of these people making any negative comments on Liverpool. Instead of focusing on the issue that there must be actions taken to stop the rot, people here are arguing that there should not making be making any negative comments.

You know, shorten Kenny's leash, give him arbitrary, media-induced goals like "finish fourth", and turn up the heat on his tactics, team-selection and transfers.

Just like was done with Benitez.

You know to that at least there must be consensus that there are enough problems, but sadly there are people like you who believe this season is a progress and thereby causing that fraction among our supporters base currently.

Don't talk bollocks, has Barnes said everything in the garden is rosy? No he fucking hasn't, it's whether the criticism is lazy and stupid - when that happens it will rightly get shot down and who gives a fuck if they played for us - that brings a responsibility on their shoulders, as it's why they're earning their corn in the first place.

Yep, he never had real support before them (barring honourable exceptions like Barnes, McAteer, Kenny himself and I seem to remember Rush at the very least being diplomatic, if not openly supportive), mealy mouthed back handed compliments from the likes of Hansen were the best he ever got. After he took on Heighway, not a single one backed him, and it really turned vitriolic then, again even bland non-contraversilist rent-a-bores like Hansen were regularly and openly critical.

That he was right never crossed their minds. That he was subsequently proved right never bothered them. That we've now got the most promising youngsters in ages is pretty much acknowledged by all of them, none of whom give him any credit. Nor will any credit whatsoever be given when these players come through - just as there hasn't been even a gramme of praise in his direction for Spearing, Shelvey, Flanagan, Robinson or even Lucas.

So the blame game has started? More abuse than focusing on the actual problem?

There has been quality posts on this forum analysing our problems properly, and it will be left up to the management and the club's ownership to accept where we've failed this season and take steps to rectify the team's problems in the Summer, so we don't endure another poor league campaign next season.

What you are asking for is that the whole userbase simply turns on the management, criticises everything the team does and makes DEMANDS. Which isn't conducive to the club getting anywhere, and is only reminiscent of a spoilt, unintelligent, impatient fanbase that constantly wants to throw the baby out with the bathwater: all that'll happen is that more problems are created for the club, whilst more money is wasted tearing up managerial contracts and selling players at losses.

We aren't Chelsea or Madrid, and we certainly shouldn't be behaving like clubs like that do.

Nah there wouldn't and wouldn't want them to. I'm a miserable twat like that.

Still you'd think that on a Liverpool forum it may be a good idea to support the team, the manager and the players, especially during a period when it would clearly be beneficial to be united.

People will question the manager, the players, the owners, its going to happen regardless at times like these, it even happened in 08/09 when we were challeging for the title dont forget! Poor decisions have been made and people will ask question and debate them, that doesnt mean they dont support the team and kenny, you can question someone and still support them it doesnt have to be an either or.

Action to be taken, fucking hell. Actions in front of the media they want, they want news, they fucking want a story. Thats all the action they want. They will start reporting Kenny delivering kung fu kicks on Suarez and Carra throwing spears at random players if it suits them.

The people supporting Kenny are not those with their head buried in the rabbit hole. Ic an see that things are bad, sometimes really bad. I also can see things which tell me that there is hope and concrete reasons to think that things will get better. The reason I restrict myself from letting go with all the frustration is that I know it is more harm than good. My analysis here is worth shit. There are good people here who can tear into Kenny if they want but they do not. The reason is once we do there is but one end, a sacking. The momentary gloating over getting noticed is not worth the long term disaster it would cause to the club. We have a responsibility. We really do and if you think about it maybe everyone here will understand why criticism should be held in check and balanced. For every one comment and argument well reasoned there will be 20 following that which are not. In the end the whole purpose with which the original poster wrote the argument is lost. All that remains is 20 people saying that Kenny's been shit to lose 6/7 and the media will twist it to say that 20 people asked for Kenny's head.

That media comment influences a 1000 more idiot to say that Kenny's been shit. It only a matter of time before this becomes a tide and a vicious cycle ending in a sack or a resignation. In the end, we will not have the golden sky but just more shit storm with the next incumbent in line and a ever dwindling stature amongst the clubs. All you would have is tribal support but fickle, in the end this will end where we would lose our identity of what made this club and truly become a mid table side. It is not a scenario which is improbable but very very probable if the trend of what we see comes to pass.

Kenny: "We play the way we want to play. We play to the style that suits us, no disrespect to other clubs but we don't focus on anybody else"
