Excellent! Day trip down or going the night before? I wouldn't mind taking the train, be more comfortable than the bus!

Theyre expecting lunacy with the Boston date and they're correct. Must be why they are delaying the sales, trying to figure out a strategy.

They've already announced that tickets will go on sale April 28th, right?

Was fooling around with searches in the Liverpool section not really intending to buy till I figured out who I could corral to come with me, and it spat out three front row seats in 142. View might end up sucking as it's kind of in the corner, but fuck it, front row for under $70.

Got 2 tickets in Upper Sideline Section 500 - looks like it may be nosebleed territory....

Baltimore is a great option, we can drive there easily - Boston flights and hotel were looking ridiculously expensive.

Slainte, before/after the game?

Take Amtrak, only 3 1/2 - 4 hours from Richmond to Baltimore, and you beat the DC traffic.

That's my plan from NYC as of now - $49 each way on Amtrak right now.

IIRC it's August 1st, so I imagine the team will fly back on the 29th or 30th.

Same here with my daughter...she has no idea!  Can't wait to tell her.  These games are even better for the kids because she won't care who makes the trip.  She'll be happy with any XI wearing red!

Just checked for those of you taking the train, light rail goes directly from penn station to the stadium - almost door to door service.

Awesome!  I wonder how these are selling...like is 140 completely full already and now they are filling the corners? or are they filling the lower rows of each section first?  If 140 is full already that's a great sign.  This is a big place and I hope it's full!  Being a Sat should certainly help a lot!  Kinda wish it was a night game.  It's going to be VERY hot most likely.

There's an Orioles game that evening next door at Camden Yards, so a night game was impossible.  And yes, it will be very hot and very humid.

Bloody humidity, us desert dwellers can handle 115 degrees but put some moisture in the air and we are screwed.

Dates are August 2 and 9 so the first leg would be 5 days after the Spurs friendly. However, if we beat Everton in the FA Cup semi-final we wouldn't have to play those games and instead progress to the 4th qualifying round or group stage.

If anyone's interested Camden Yards is a great ballpark and definitely worth it if you've never been to a Major League Baseball game.

Try the following:
Search again
Select "Best Available" or "Any Price".
Change the quantity of tickets requested.
Double check your promotional code or password, if you used one.
At the time of your search, another customer may have been viewing the tickets you want and then decided not to buy them  "

When Chelsea played Milan there in 2009, they got more than 71,000.  Last year, Man U played Barca just down the road outside of DC at Fed Ex Field and got 82,000.

The number of people within a couple hours of Baltimore is massive!  Only 34K people can see them in Boston.

NYC - 3 1/2 hrs
DC - 1 hr
Philadelphia - 2 hours

Between the growing number of Spurs fans, the sheer numbers of US Reds, and neutral PL fans this should do quite well.
