Even more excited now...will be Rodgers' second game in charge.

Well, will be third game of the tour, so not likely. Also likely to have a game from camp prior to flying out on 18th.

cannot believe the summer i move from the dmv liverpool plays at m&t bank.

but, for all you guys looking for a good time. check out pickles bar by the stadium and the fed hill neighborhood of baltimore for some good bars and food.

don't wander around too much, haha. baltimore isn't too great when you get turned around...

Even more excited now...will be Rodgers' second game in charge.  Was really looking forward to seeing Kenny in person though.

Hoping the new manager will mean more first XI's making the trip.

Baltimore is the third match on the North American tour.

I mentioned earlier in the thread, for those in the area or around Friday night...we're planning a sing song at a pub down the Inner Harbor.

Pub to be determined later.

May have the local Branch involved as well.

So keep track of this thread if you're interested.

i was being a bit dramatic there. baltimore is beautiful, especially the inner harbor. it tends to swing a bit too touristy, but hey, what would you expect with a bunch of museums, bars, and restaurants along a waterfront with old ships and coast guard vessels.  the bad bits of that city are pretty damn noticeable so just keep your head about you. i am from the dc area so i'm not exactly the perfect expert. b'more is fantastic, hope y'all enjoy yourselves.

if i were to give advice to people, especially from outta the country: have some drinks in fed hill (try a natty boh, its trash but whatever), walk the inner harbor, try a crab cake (rely on yelp and locals to learn the best spot) and scream your asses off at the game. ynwa.

Anyone thinking about who we may see or not see at this game?  With the Euros, Europa, and Olympics I am fully expecting to see some big names skip the tour, but with a new manager there may be some added pressure as Rodgers will surely want to get a look.

I just booked a ticket in 148

Turns out there are not many tickets left at all in any of the decent areas and everything now is single tickets in the middle areas or off to the corners or up in the gods

Yes there is a good light rail system that goes to the stadium and to downtown. I think I'm going to stay at a hotel on the light rail and that'll be how I get to the stadium. Just need to double check on the schedule.

Light Rail from the airport area hotels is simple....$1.60 each way, no transfers, etc....M&T Stadium is the Hamburg Street stop.

Sorry if this is posted elsewhere, but is anyone here going to the July 21 game in Toronto? Got my tickets for it this week and cannot wait! This will be my second LFC game, got to see them at home to Wolves in September.
Also, does anyone know if official merchandise will be on sale during the North American tour? Would love to get a hold of one of the new shirts.
Cheers!

For folks asking for bars and restaurants to eat at in Baltimore, try out brewers art in mount Vernon. It's a microbrewery or whatever it's called when u make ur own beer, some really good beers there. As for food, other than the obvious fells point and fed hill, there are good restaurants/ bars in mount Vernon and in hampden. These areas are also very safe. Although you are not very safe at late hours in any big cities in the world so please take necessary common sense precautions. Kumari Indian restaurant, Helmand (afghani food) and cazbar (Mediterranean) are my favorite places to eat in mount Vernon if anyone wanted recommendations. It's also not more than 2 miles away from stadium. There is a dessert/ bakery shop in fells vaccaro's thats pretty good. Hope folks have good trips in baltimore

A bit off the beaten track, but a suggestion if any of you are driving and don't necessarily care about being in the Baltimore area the night before, I'm going to drive from NYC to Annapolis, Md. and stay there Fri night.  It's not far from Baltimore and there are LOADS of good hotels and restaurants in the area.  Going to leave work at 4:30, get there (hopefully, with summer shore traffic) by 8:00, have dinner, and get an early start the next morning for some tailgating.
