We're are mid table.

If we lose tomorrow we will be, and half of the team/half of the management can fuck off in the summer as far as i'm concerned. Step up and show some balls.

fixed it.

Let's not beat around the bush, we are mid-table. Players need to step up and take some responsibility. Show some fucking pride for that red shirt that they're wearing.

Cue the 'but we're making progress, we won the league cup' bollocks.

I'm all for winning trophies, but if people are content with coming 7th after heavy squad investment for the sake of a minor trophy like the Carling Cup then it's the sign of recent times/expectations really.

Newcastle will be a good test tomorrow, we looked a class above them at Anfield sowill be a good measure of where we've been going wrong of late. Find it very hard to take that they are probably going to finish higher than us this season, but nevertheless we need to get our game faces on tomorrow, for a change.

They need to show this Newcastle team why it was that we spent so much fucking  money on them especially compared to their bargain basement buys, there should be a gulf in class between us and its about time these players showed it or as BG RED said they can all fuck off, no more excuses

I think its a massive gamble if we play Carroll tomorrow. A bit like when Torres played his first game for Chelsea against us and everyone of our lads stepped up to make sure he wouldnt score and we won the game. I'd expect a similar reaction from the Newcastle players tomorrow and (again a bit like Torres) I doubt if he has the mental strength to stand up to it and have a good game.

Each one of our c*nts had better run out with a fucking RPG up their arses tomorrow, ready to run through a brick wall. If there's another spineless performance like vs Wigan, the whole squad can fuck off.

You should have a bit more confidence mate. Every time we have played one of the top sides this season (and sadly yes compared to us at the moment Newcastle fall into that catergory) we have played well, not always getting what we deserved from the game.

Indeed, there should have been a reaction weeks ago.

But fuck me, we are 9th & we're behind Everton, in danger of actually ending up in the bottom half - things are at breaking point. If I don't see some kind of major reaction tomorrow I'll lose faith in this set of players.

If we turn up like we did against the Bitters we will. If we turn up like we did vs Wigan we won't. 90 minutes of effort please. If we take the lead keep going. None of this White flag out retreat to defend the penalty area shite we've encountered from day 100%.

Time for the multimillionaires to realise they no longer play for Villa, Sunderland, Blackpool or Middlesbrough any more! Possibly 10 more games to go this season. Time for the lazy bastards to sweat blood for the club - time to fucking earn that Bentley!

If Newcastle are to finish above us, then so be it. It's been a disaster of a season and I guess that sort of puts things into perspective. But Everton? Fucking Everton, who flirt with relegation every season before the turn of the new year?

Must win tomorrow. We won't get into the CL, and don't care about Europa as we're already in it but fucking salvage some pride. Tomorrow will actually be a good character test for a lot of these players. I expect the team to turn up for the semi against Everton as it's obviously a huge match, but if the likes of Downing, Carroll, Henderson etc fail to turn up tomorrow they can fuck off during the summer as far as i'm concerned. Show what you're made of, give us something to cheer about ffs.

I'm hoping we'll see:

Reina

Flanagan   Skrtel   Coates   Enrique

Spearing

Gerrard   Shelvey

Downing                           Suarez

Carroll

Won't happen though, as Kenny seems determined to go 4-4-2 if both Carroll and Suarez start. He really doesn't fancy Suarez playing off the wing.

Not optimistic about tomorrows game at all. ithought the scoreline flattered us at home, and we haven't kicked on at all from there. The
fact that they are above says far more for the progress we have made over the last two years than I could.
By the way, I should tell you that I haven’t had a chance to shower while making my way up here, my balls are extra vinegary.

Didn't think it flattered us at all, we were all over them when they scored a goal out of nothing. We were much the better team throughout the 90minuts as far as I can remember.

Haha, I wish!  ;)

Reading their main forum - newcastle-online - most of them think Enrique hasn't been adequately replaced yet ; concerns about the quality of their defenders although that area is apparently being scouted and addressed. Carroll's been superceded by Ba and Cisse though, they think they have upgraded their entire attacking unit (players) and system with Carroll's sale. Agree with them to be honest.

Still amazes me how we took their two best players and we aren't in front of them. Comolli's 'Delboy' transfers have left us the laughing stock of the Premiership. Of course Suarez, Enrique, Bellamy and Coates were fantastic signings but I can't help but think we would be comfortably in third with Newcastle's transfer policy instead of ours!

Can't argue that their attack looks pretty sharp, could cause us some problems if they play well. You'd like to think if their defence is a bit suspect we can get at them and score a couple but even if we create the chances you know the chances are we'll be queuing up to miss them.

I akm comfortable we will win. Lets face it, we are game-raisers and tomorrow we face a top side, usually that inspires us. But it is slowly becoming a must win game, as our 2012 form is embarrasing and questions are starting to mount up.

Doesn't seem like there's much confidence surrounding this one, but we've had good luck in the last five matches. We've only lost once in the last five matches and have only scored less than 3 goals only once.
