Assuming everyone is fit, I'd like to see:

Reina

Johnson Skrtel Agger Enrique

Spearing Shelvey

Gerrard Suarez Maxi

Bellamy

If Bellamy isn't fit, I'd play Carroll.

If Johnson isn't fit play Kelly, if Kelly isn't fit play Flanagan.

If Agger isn't fit play Coates.

Sterling should be on the bench.

We willwin this, but Newcastle will finish above us!  Mainly because they have goal scorers in Cisse and Ba!

I remember that 5-1 victory fondly! (if I'm thinking of the right game ::) too lazy to watch the vid right now). Thought it was one of the first games where Lucas showed his class, and the scoreline would've been much higher if Given hadn't made a string of fantastic saves early on.

Can't say I foresee a similar performance this time, neither can anyone else I'd guess- Newcastle have been impressive all season and we're in a terrible slump where the team seem unmotivated for large periods of every game. Coates and Carroll to start please, for Carra and Dirk respectively.

                        Pepe

    Kelly    Skrtel    Coates    Enrique

                    Spearing
             Henderson   Maxi
                     Gerrard

               Carroll   Suarez

...it's not like we're using the width anyway
I can confirm that on this subject at least, there is an almost cultish obsession, which I find quite unnerving.

Team I would play if Johnson and Bellamy are out:

                         Reina
Kelly       Skrtel         Coates          Enrique
                       Spearing
   Kuyt       Gerrard    Maxi       Sterling
                         Suarez

Subs: Doni, Carragher, Aurelio, Flanagan, Downing, Carroll, Eccleston

We’ll still finish in top four - and they won’t. You can quote me on this in May.

I'm really dreading this game.
the knives will be out big time if we loose again.

I'll say 1-0 to us, with Sterling coming on to score a screamer in the top corner in the last minute.

I thought Skrtel was our player of the season, but being at fault for two goals in our last two games - I think Bellamy has been the most consistent.  Whenever used he has been top draw!

Normal team with God up front with Suarez.

That way all this bullshit post hitting keeper saving nonsense will end, even if God spends the entire time in the Geordie box because his pace is gone.

Nah am on the right website like, looking forward to the game on Sunday, the prospect of having Perch and Williamson at the back is frightening so you's will score, Colocini will be a big miss, call me deluded or whatever it is we get branded as but Colocini is the best center half in the country, aslong as Ba Cisse and Ben Arfa are on there game, am confident we'll get a result. If there not on thier game the Big Sho is always on the bench.

A team chasing CL versus a team already on the beach... I know who I reckon will do it. Of course, as a united fan jeeringly explained it to me "Liverpool are like a drowning man, there will be occasional moments of respite as they manage to get their head above water for one last gasp of air, before sinking without a trace" so perhaps this will be one of those rare moments when the lungs fill ever so slightly and the team put out a good performance, before slumping to (predictable) mid table mediocrity.
Beatings will continue until morale improves...

But those United fans know that Liverpool is United's biggest nightmare - that their last couple of decades in the sun will end when the phoenix rises again...it almost happened under Benitez, and it can still happen again if we play our cards right...

Welcome. Some Newcastle supporting mates are saying the absence of Coloccini is a free pass at goal for us. Are your other centre backs really that crap, I remember hearing some good things about Perch's form picking up in the last few games..Why haven't you invested in a centre back then during the past season (summer / January window).

If it's really that serious, then i quite fancy us. We have problems against well organised defensive units, where the defenders are at least competent. If they're not even that, due to the amount of times we move the ball into the final third we'll get the goal even if we have barely any organised penetrative attacks.

If your team resorts to retreating deep into your half and giving us the ball, that'll be fantastic. The teams that have gotten something against us have mostly pressed us high and kept the ball and kept possession well in the middle thirds and even in our own half. With the notable exception of your great friends and bosom buddies Sunderland, they were just a bunch of well organised ruggers.

Judging by Kennys comments, about too much pretty football, in the Echo. Carroll will start and we will be knocking a lot of long balls up to him.
There really isn't.  I think a lot of us, even our own have started doubting it. It's time to rise up. And take what is rightfully ours. It's a big mountain, but what is the point in achieving something, which everyone can?

Fate has given us a mountain too big. We have to rise. We have to believe.

I guess most don't like to predict the negative, but i'm finding it hard to think we will get much from this game.  Our defence is shaky without Agger, our midfield is something of an enigma and our attack is as sharp as custard.

The way things are going i can see a 3-1 loss, i think their attack has more about it than our defence can handle.

Either that or we'll win or draw, maybe but probably might could will shouldn't
