Reina dropped? As if. I think Reina's form has dipped since Valero left.

off topic but after Suarez's shot hit the post, who took the second shot before Kuyt turned the rebound in? The stream i watched it in was shite.

Three goals, all of which were not his fault.

The criticism of Reina is ridiculous.

I don't think it is ridiculous.

Even the biggest Pepe fan would have to say he has been below his usual high standards this season.

I think part of the problem is having no genuine competition for his place, similar to Jose Enrique.

I'd probably play Doni in the Europa League next season to give Pepe something to think about.

I think calling me a twat is a little far but have a look through my post history and try and find any criticism of Pepe. Maybe once, but honestly I don't think I've ever been critical of him. Just thought last night was very bad in terms of effort from him. Sometimes defenders don't win the header (especially from a good cross) - that doesn't mean a keeper doesn't take any blame - they're there as the last line to save that goal. He didn't try to yesterday.

See heres the thing, your blaming a keeper when it was down to the defenders to stop it pepe did nought wrong. It seems to be the rawk way once something is estabilished about a player i.e pepe being poor this season it becomes a fact when 3 mistakes means he has been poorer but he still be top notch when we have needed. No one wants to mention his save against walcott with thigh or acting as an auxiallary centre back against city.

Don't take it personally, its just I've seen alot of people try to justify reina being poor this season on stupid shit like, oh when was the last time he saved a pen. Its already been decided by some on here that hart is better than reina when it couldn't further from the truth. Hart was shocking yesterday but will be brushed under the carpet and he will be considered the best in the world.

Another cliche johnson can't defend and kelly is better while in truth glen is one of the few world class player we have and is far superior to any fullback in the league. These sort of cliches do my head so don't take it personally.

Also, just seen someone try to justify reina being poor due to a lack of competition. Fuck me have they even seen doni? Reina's only downfall is the loss of xavi valero and he has to basically coach himself.

How on earth do you know that's the reason for his poor form and not the lack of competition ?!

It's speculation on both parts.

Either way, Reina has been below par this season.

We'll start on fire - NOt score. Fans will moan n groan. We'll then score before HT or early 2nd half. We'll go on to win by 1 or 2. We'll then be called amazing, and still be in a chance for 4th

I agree he hasn't hit his usual, ridiculously high standards.

I just don't agree he could have done much about the goals we conceeded last night or that he didn't try, as the poster suggested.

I think he needs to improve his control of the box and his one on ones. He has been poor with those this season. Seems to rarely come out and collect the ball, even when its near the 6 yard box.

With the one on ones, I just think he stays up too long and this results in him getting nutmegged nearly every time a player is one on one with him. Dropped of from his usual standards, and people even mentioned in pre season, but I do think its just a blip. One poor season does not discard what he has done previously. He has showed how good he is, 3 golden gloves show that, and hopefully next season, he steps back up to his usual level.

That was some of the best passing we'd done this season. We deserved to score 6 before conceding 3.

Yet we didn't.. I don't care if our players score overhead scissor kicks after 300 passes every night while shitting rainbows..

It still doesn't make loss a win.

I'd rather we play the ugliest football I've ever seen and win this games.

Honestly, I don't care. We have (potentially) two games remaining this season, and that's all I'm looking forward to.

I don't care because I know that Kenny will start the same players, and not give a chance to the ones that deserve one. The league's done for us, we've been beyond rubbish and I honestly couldn't care less if we finished 7th or 15th.

Silly.

I admit I'm so deflated after that QPR defeat but I still want us to win as many as we can from now until the end of the season. We shouldn't be finishing behind Newcastle for a start.

I just don't agree he could have done much about the goals we conceeded last night or that he didn't try, as the poster suggested.

Not much about the first two, but I think he could have done something for their winner.  I've started to worry about Reina to be honest, he has been fairly average for a while - I'm struggling to think of decent saves he has made.  He's also made quite a few errors this season.  As much as Carroll was to blame for the Crouch goal on Sunday, what Pepe was doing whispering sweet nothings into Ryan Shotton's ears when he should have been ploughing right through him I'll never know.  Had a quick google about and found these stats >> http://thepowerofgoals.blogspot.co.uk/2012/02/most-exposed-playing-position-on.html

Hope he gets back to his best soon - starting Saturday at 3pm.

Think we'll draw simply because we cannot do anything right in the league this season. Getting really pissed off with the fact that our younger and better players are not been given a chance. Adam is terrible. Downings just not good enough. Henderson I feel will be a very good player but only if played in the centre. Luis is great but we need a real stricker beside him. still cannot believe we lost against qpr. Everyone switched off. And the owners surely are worried about out league form. Kenny looks wrecked tired and is just giving defensive answers all the time. I'm a bit worried about the summer. We need a good goal scored and a decent winger. But why are we not letting young lads have a chance? I fooking hate Adams lazy play. I'm just sad now sorry. We should be battling easily for 4th but we're not and surely someone is to blame?

Doubt the youth will get a place in the starting 11 with the negative press at the moment, still need to use these games to help the senior players gel.
I reckon the game will be similar to QPR at home with suarez being the difference. Then again I'd like to see a goalfest to make up for how wednesday finished.
