« on: March 20, 2012, 06:34:18 PM »
It's not just about Pinterest and Tumblr with LFC these days!

Live Luis Garcia Twitter interview at 7pm

'Twitter Tuesday' - a brand new weekly feature on our official twitter feed @LFC - kicks off this evening when Luis Garcia will be joining us for an exclusive interview to answer YOUR questions.

He's the man who scored that famous semi-final goal against Chelsea in 2005 and that memorable dipping volley against Juventus along the Reds' path to Istanbul - and we're giving you the chance to quiz him about his Liverpool life.

Every week we'll be interacting live with Liverpool players past and present, celebrity fans and other key figures from the club's history and asking your questions to the people who have helped shape or share a passion for LFC.

Luis will be joining us online from his new home in Mexico, where he is currently plying his footballing trade with Puebla FC, at 7pm UK time tonight, so if you want to quiz him about games, goals or his teammates from his Anfield career, his thoughts on the Reds today, his new career in Mexico or anything else, then this is your chance.

We'll be encouraging you to get involved on the night by submitting questions live as the interview is taking place, but if you want to send questions in advance then please tweet them to @LFC now making sure to include the hashtag #tweetluis.

Don;t forget you'll also be able to follow this interview on your iPhone by downloading our FREE social media app LFC Connect.

You also need to make sure you are 'following' both @LFC and @LuchoGarcia14to be able to watch the question and answer session develop live on your screen.

He's one of the most popular players to have worn the red shirt over recent years - so make sure you don't miss our first ever 'Twitter Tuesday' interview with Luis Garcia at 7pm tonight, only on @LFC.

Be great to hear from our old friend!
I think this was 2001, in the Texas state legislature, they were trying to outlaw sodomy, while at the SAME time, trying to repeal the law against bestiality.
So potentially, you couldn't make love in the privacy of your own home, but you'd be able to go down to the local pound & have a good ol LEGAL Texas style dawg fuckin!

SO EXCITED :D

All hail King Luis I.

But seriously, we lack a player of his flair and creativity in midfield these days.
Brought some of my best moments as a Liverpool fan, and for that alone he will always be a legend in my eyes.

Seems to be doing well in Mexico... maybe we could bring him back  ;)

Former Kop favourite Luis Garcia last night spent one hour online interacting with Liverpool fans in our first ever 'Twitter Tuesday' on @LFC.

Supporters from all over the world logged online to ask one of our Istanbul heroes questions on topics ranging from his Anfield playing days, to his life off the field and his new career now with Puebla FC in Mexico.

If you missed the fascinating question and answer session - which was tweeted live on our official twitter feed - then you can read the full transcript below right now.

Please remember that Luis was getting through as many questions as he possibly could before he had to leave for training - and he managed an impressive 87 in just 60 minutes - so we can excuse any spelling errors from a man who, after all, doesn't speak English as his first language. The transcript below is presented exactly as it was displayed on @LFC during the live chat.

Everybody at @LFC would like to thank Luis for giving up an hour of his time on Tuesday night and we wish him the very best for the rest of the season and beyond.

Cult hero. Some outstanding goals. Was right behind his goal against Chelsea in the FA Cup semi at Old Trafford. Was typical of what he could do.
I think the same, can't stand him, but if you could have a £1million pound cheque or steve bruces head hollowed out and filled with pound coins which would you have?

Our little Luis transfered to mexican team Pumas Unam.

Just seen him on the mexican sports channel Fox Deportes at the press conference for their new kit.
Unfortunately i don't speak a word of Spanish so don't know what was being said.
I believe that the fee for the transfer hasn't been announced as of yet.
