He was top class! Both defensively and going forward. Was gutted for him that he didn't score that chance he had from Downing's cross though!

Kelly is maturing really nicely. Was a great performance from him today. Almost scored and his overlapping runs helped stretch the defense!

while i agree he was immense, you can tell johnson is on another level going forward. but as a right back id say kelly is alot more solid, (did he get caught out a couple of times tonight it seems they were targetting him? ) id love to see jose, martin, kelly and johnson as a back line

Was good tonight, and maybe should have got a couple of goals.

Needs to work on his defending. A lot of Everton's attacks came down his side, and a better team may have made more of those opportunities, but he has time on his side and can work on that side of things.

How does he keep popping up in the 6 yard box for clear chances?  He'll put one away one day.

Brilliant tonight, he's got a fantastic opportunity now with Johnson out for a couple of weeks, hope he grasps it.
You have posted literally nothing of substance to flame about.  Your "points", and I dread to call them that, were superficial and completely arbitrary.  Nothing you said could be argued against because nothing you said elaborated a position of any kind.

Defined all action display today.  Great all over the pitch.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

Absolutely brilliant tonight, fantastic to have two incredibly strong fullbacks on the right. Feel sorry for him having Johnson in front of him, but after this performance, if he can put together 1-2 more, Kenny might have a problem. It's funny because I actually think if anything, he wasn't too strong defensively tonight but his overlapping runs, aggression and confidence were just boss.

wich is only positive for our team...

our RB is sorted for the next decade.

maybe even CB if he follows Carras path eventually...

nah, Johnson proved he is our first choice despite Martin being good... he still learns..but as said, next season it will be season of choice between them for the first team spot...

i like both equally... both have their quality..Glen is slightly ahead of Martin still...
