Come on lad, be real. Henderson is absolute shite and downing had one good game and that was against the mighty Cardiff. Its not their fault they cost so much money, but they are awful, not even average. Carroll, oh well, but I am not giving up on him. Downing wont get better, 0 assists, 0 goals, please fuck off.
Bellamy was our signing of the season and he was for free. Look at him and what he delivers and his passion and then look at Henderson. If we had three Bellamys in the tream, we would piss 4th place with our eyes closed. But we dont  :no

No. I'm talking about the spazmoided cockgobblers coming on here with stuff like "Jen Chang says we could've bought Munian for two yorkies, but we only offered half a twix" or "Scott says we were after Llorente last summer and we'd have got him for a smile and a song but instead we decided to mortage the club to buy Andy Carroll".

These attention seekers continually get to shown to be more out of the loop than Gary Glitter on a children in need benefits concert, but people want to believe them regardless, either so they can build up ridiculously false hope or so they can slag off our own ridiculously.

The handball was a difficult call, I can give the ref some breathing space on that but the non-pen on Llorente was a very poor decision. I thought overall the ref had a decent game to be honest, it was a fast flowing game and he helped it along without be too finicky.

Thoughts on the second leg? If united go out then I hope City do too to keep them as fresh for the league. If United somehow get through then I hope City do too to stop them from winning it.

Make sense? Although based on that I still think Bilbao will get through ok.

Loads on red cafe slating jones and saying he's miles over rated.
Pros
Drives forward with the ball well (not always sure what to at the end of the runs though)
The occasional solid tackle
Er...

Cons
Doesn't look comfortable on the ball
Touch not great
Passing not particularly good
Positioning very poor

Sorry but I just don't see it. Can't help worrying this is Alan Smith all over again...

I got told last week, by a bitter, that johnson would be alright if he could defend, but rafael is far and away the best full back in the league.

Can't help but be delighted by the scoreline.  Sure, they got their customary pelanty, and of course some miracle will happen which will ensure the septics' progression in the tournament, but for now I'll just smile knowingly which will wind the c*nts up no end.

I got told last week, by a bitter, that johnson would be alright if he could defend, but rafael is far and away the best full back in the league.

You sure you heard him right, the fucking kid's a major liability, I wouldn't want him anywhere near my firstteam. The only thing he has going for him is that he's got decent pace and is alright going forward but first and foremost he's a defender and he's utter shit at it*. That's my problem with Luiz - altho with alot of coaching I could see that maybe he'd become a good defender, at the mo he's a central midfielder with preferably a holding player next to him - in defence his decision making is woeful, nope, he needs tons of coaching. That said, in all fairness to the lad, when we played Benfica away, he played as leftback and he was by far their best player, he was impressive on that day (altho after we went down to 10, which was in the first half, he didn't have to worry about defending a lot).

Jones, he's a young lad that's made a huge step-up in terms of club size and expectation and he's often being played out of his natural position. Started well for them, has looked a bit of a liability since but I think he's quality and it will come through with experience and esp when he drops back into central defence - I think him and smalling will do well as a central pairing for the mancs for years to come.

*plus the kid is a red card waiting to happen, if players wanted to they could wind him up a piece of piss and you know he'd bite everytime.

I thought he was supposed to be englands saviour along with scotty?

As much as it hurts to say so, I think he is very similar to Lucas. He looked an absolute class apart in the U21 championships (albeit in a misfiring England team) and I think those performances give an indication as to his potential. Now he has stepped up a level and is struggling a little due to lack of experience and trying that little bit too hard. If they persevere with him he'll turn out a brilliant player I reckon. He's just turned 20 and has put in adequate performances across the backline and in midfield. If the summer had gone the other way and he was turning out in a different red shirt I'd imagine that people would be hailing his potential as they do on the main board for Shelvey who is almost the same age, has made a few sub appearances for the first team and spent time on loan in the championship this season.

Always has an absolutely clueless look on his face as well, which adds to the comedy

That third goal for Bilbao was hilarious. I was sitting there watching the highlights and thought that was just another missed chance, because there were three defenders on the screen after de Gea made the save. Then out of nowhere the Bilbao-player storms in from the left and smashes it home... :)

I just hope it won't come back and bite them in the arse that they "only" managed a 3-2 win, when they should have won by a higher margin... ;)

Heard the Ferguson interview this morning on the radio coming in. Honestly - he must have had 2 or 3 bottles of wine by the time he did that? Could barely make out a word he said. Slurring and waffling.
