All i was saying there was no need for Henderson and if his meant to be a dmp well his reading of the game is poor, positional sense is poor and choice off pass is poor oh and lets not forget he can't, won't tackle.
Think this is a very silly comment. I advise you to take a look at the compilation Mostar has posted above. From that it's clear to see Henderson made a number of very good passes today, not very many where you can say his choice of pass is poor.
Also, look how he always manages to find himself little pockets of space to receive the ball in. Now to be fair, it's probably a bit to do with Villa's midfield being below par, but you can't say his positional sense is poor, very often he's there willing to get the ball and move it on again quickly. It's in this way that he reminds me of Lucas. While Lucas would have poor games, he'd often have a couple of moments during games where he'd do something and you think 'Wow, that was actually impressive, if only he'd do that more often.' I see myself doing the same with Hendo. The pass at around 2:30 in that video is one such moment.
As much as I was screaming at him not to shoot in the 92nd minute, I was strangely impressed that he had the confidence and self belief to actually try a shot at that moment in the game when it's 1-1. We have to remember he's still a very young player, trying to force his way into one of the league's biggest teams in his first season at the club, at a time when the whole side is not performing and hasn't had a settled midfield all season. Add the burden of massive fan expectations and a large transfer fee, along with him being played out of position a lot, it's a bit unfair to be giving him so much criticism. He'll be fine here, just have a bit of patience with him.
