was thinking about this earlier, it would make more sense for us to be the early game on the Saturday due to the distance Stoke fans have to travel. However, when have the FA ever considered the fans?

Yep, don't think they'd cared much about Brighton fans having to travel back so far on a Sunday evening.

If Stoke beat Valenica this Thursday they'll be playing in the next round of the Europe on Thursday 16th March - so we'd be likely to play on the Sunday. Ifs and buts of course ;)

True, maybe they will just put us the Sunday to save any confusion

I know it's thinking ahead, but should we get to Wembley again, does anyone else think it'll be 3 tpin this years FA cup being the requirement to get a ticket? Or you think it'll be all 4 (Oldham, Utd, Brighton and Stoke)

Should be fine as I doubt they'll be more than 30k on the ACS.

With Everton being drawn at home I guess we'll be on the Sunday again?

It will be announced on Wednesday. Won't be any Saturday 3pm games as they are all televised.

Is there any chance of using Utd away last year for any cup-semi at Wembley?

The ACS I believe will only be used for home games. If we beat Stoke, I'd guess the sale would go:

STH with 4
Members with 4, either ACS or otherwise
STH with 3.

Sadly the club don't appear to want to use United away from last season, which could sell 9000 of the tickets a lot easier as I'm sure most there would have 4 this year, or at least the number used for the ticket would.

Why should the club use last years priority though? 32,000 would easily get shifted from 3 above credits from this year, what would be the point?

To split the sale. Our ticket office needs all the help it can get. Cutting the numbers applying at once will help them.

Their abacuses don't count that far.

Surely if we get to the semi it would follow as below???

Season ticket ACS (Oldham, Man Utd, Brighton and Stoke) -- 4 credits
Members / Fan card ACS (Oldham, Man Utd, Brighton and Stoke) -- 4 credits

Season ticket (Oldham, Man Utd, Brighton and Stoke) -- 4 credits but not in ACS
Members / Fan card (Oldham, Man Utd, Brighton and Stoke) -- 4 credits but not in ACS

Season ticket holders with 3 credits
Members / Fan card with 3 credits

Do people who opt into th ACS get any benefit for semi's or finals etc etc???

I'm pretty sure ACS is only for home games. The semi ticketed as a neutral venue, same as a final.

Fair play Jim

Reckon if you opt in you should have a priority with who ever else does but that's prop due to me being a member in the ACS

Wish everyone could get sorted but that's never going to happen!!

Fook me - its like this for every round of each cup competition in here! LOL

Here's an extract from the club website:

Priority for future home matches of the FA Cup may be given to Season Ticket Holders and Members / Fan Card Holders who have purchased tickets for the earlier home matches.

Any future FA Cup games will be sold based on attendance in this season's competition.

What's so hard to understand about it?  LOL

So you have your priority for HOME games - thats it.

Obviously as this season - every FA Cup game has been a home game - ACS members will have maximum points.

Therefore like with the Carling Cup, if we reach the Semi and/or the Final, priority will go to those with maximum points.  If there are too many with maximum points for the amount of tickets available, then a ballot will kick in.  Which I would imagine is extremely unlikely for the Semi but could be interesting for the Final with only a 25000 allocation.

As far as I am aware the ACS is just a way of guaranteeing and making the purchase of a ticket easier . It carries no weight in itself when setting levels of priority.

That is to say a ST or member with 4 credits on their record would have the same priority whether the tickets were bought via the ACS or 4 seperate sales.

It's the number of credits recorded that counts , not how you get them.

Will the club neglect FC holders from Members + ST holders say if we got the Semi?

My guess is mate that you would be third in the queue with maximum points.

Again my guess is that you will walk a ticket for the semi but under pressure for the final.

Think that this will be quite a good guess at how it will go. Both Oldham and Brighton went down to a general sale (I think) which probably means that there will be a lot of people that haven't got max credits. It'll be interesting to see how the club allocate this..... Providing we beat Stoke first of course!
