Also in case anyone was concerned I have spoken to Kitster who was kind enough to let me use the Skrtel Cartoon he did a while back and help design the banner.

It arrived today. Yay!

Not bad at all, from getting the artwork to flagmakers for Tuesday morning, to manufactured and delivered by Friday afternoon, I have to say, that is magnificent service and turn around in a little over 72 hours, Brilliant.  :wellin

Original artwork, and flag.

It's quite breezy here, so I can't get the thing to stand up properly without the flag falling in on itself.

The photo doesn't do it justice, it's far nicer in the flesh.

Very nice mate!! Did you check the size of it? Ours arrived, but it's a lot smaller than we ordered and paid for, 2.3 Metres high instead of 3 metres!! Raised a complaint as it should be 30% bigger than it is!! VERY UNHAPPY with ours, gonna get it remade from the firm who did the Umbro launch at Wembley, here in Brum too so I can pick it up. Will let everyone know how it goes.

The only paint is on the facial features everything else is just fabric sewn on fabric.

Some absolutely brilliant banners going on though, proper reminds me of the week before Athens. The Lucas and Agger ones look superb and that Kuyt one is brilliant. Can't wait now.

Delighted a Skrtel and Kuyt banner have both been made. They deserve it!

I've had it out, but I've not measured it's exact size, yet. ( No sniggering at the back, there.)

When I gave them the order, I gave them the leeway to make it a bit smaller if they needed to, to fit a banner size, so if it's smaller, no worries, as I don't think it will make that much impact on the final thing, to be honest.

I wanted the banner 2.5m, so I said I wanted it within that size, but with a small white border, and pole runners sewn up the sides. So in short, it will be a little bit smaller than I first ordered it.  But thats fine.

On Sunday, I'm going to have the normal match wearing clothes, plus my scarf etc, plus my banner, and poles, plus all of the other stuff, like butties drinks, crisps etc.  I also bumped into Gerry from the HJC shop yesterday whilst at Anfield to get tickets, and he asked me to take some stuff down to Wembley.   Having said yes, he then loaded me up with loads of big posters, loads of leaflets, plus stickers etc. etc.

FFS. on Sunday, I'm going to be getting on the trail from Liverpool looking like a pack mule.  I'm gonna need two sets of hands.

Great thread this, the Dagger/Lucas/Boy's pen banners are brilliant.

After all the PR rubbish that we've been through recently I just came to the conclusion that it will all fizzle out and that we will eventually get back to what really matters, winning footie matches and trophies (hopefully). Nice to see a proper football related thread instead of the BS we have been getting dragged into. I feel really proud and dead excited for Sunday seeing these banners.

I'm out and about tomorrow, around Liverpool, so if yoy want me to drop you some off (Widnes)  PM me your details and I'll call by and give you some stuff.
