Anyone know if we went to have another look at Rasmus Elm?

Dalglish is said to be willing to have another look at him.

Holland have always produced talent though so it is a good idea to get players from the Dutch league.

And El Ahmadi wasn't just suspended at AZ. He didn't play against Ajax too, when Feyenoord beat them 4-2. So they didn't seem to miss him much against 2 of the strongest teams in the league. I think Guidetti is seriously overhyped, 7 penalties. Without them 13 goals isn't as impressive.

You mentioned the last few games. Feyenoord played Ajax back in January, that's not really the same as "the last few games" now is it? 20 goals is about 1/3rd of their total. They would still be mid-table or worse without his goals considering a lot of those goals were game winners.

Me saying Clasie is overrated has a lot more premise than you saying Guidetti is honestly.

Sorry if I've missed it, but how do you think Elm would turn out in England?
I've not seen him much, but he seemed impressive when I seen him.

Ola John is being strongly linked to Benfica this days as replacement for Gaitan... how good is he?

I honestly don't know. AZ were flying at the start of this season spearheaded by Elm, but their form has been crumbling down considerably after the winter break. Elm returned at the start on sunday after missing the very important game against Feyenoord because his wife had labour and they only just managed to get a draw against NEC.

He doesn't belong anywhere near Liverpools 1st team currently, but someone with his delivery on set pieces can always come handy. It all comes down on the price really.

Twente bought Tadic so now have to sell one of John or Chadli. Seems like there's more interest for John so the story goes that Twente have agreed a deal with Benfica, but the player himself doesn't feel like it's the smartest thing to do. And he's right, he only had one full season yet.

John is quite highly rated. Isn't he?

There are some rumours about Fulham being interested in Chadli.

Fulham wanted Chadli last season but he got injured, then they turned to Ruiz. But they are supposed to still be interested.

John is a big talent, but I think Twente overused him a bit, exhausted him, his form dipped later on this season. I think Twente will sooner sell Chadli than John though.

That reminds me of what happened to Ruiz?

Everyone was wanking about how good he is and how Fulham have managed to get a gem but he hasn't really been a regular at Fulham. Has he?

Nope. Expected he wouldn't be a massive succes though. He has talent and stuff, but his decicision making is just too slow. He often took alot of time on the ball before doing something with it in the eredivisie too, but kind of got away with it there. He said himself too this season that he has about a second less time in the EPL to think, and he's had issues coping with that. Still he should come good with time, just won't be amazing.

He has only scored twice however both of his goals were very classy chips if he adapts to this extra second he may become a 15 goals classy chips goals player a season

Yeah, he's always showed he has technical skill. Problem is also his position. He played kind of as a right winger/playmaker/ inside forward in a 3 forward line at Twente. But he isn't fast enough to be a real winger. Fulham play a different style than Twente did. And I think he'd probably only function in their current formation playing in Dempsey's position as more of a free role forward/2nd striker, but obviously he can't compete with Dempsey. He has the playmaking skills to also function more as a midfielder, but lacks the intensity and defensive skills that are often required there for teams like Fulham.

No, don't think so. They'll try to win, but if Feyenoord manage a late equaliser they wouldn't be shy to let in another.

Yes and no, it all depends on what happends in the PSV game.

However Dost has already said he won't play "to be sure of not getting injured considering a possible transfer", even though he has the chance of breaking several scoring records. The only way Heerenveen is sure of going into Europe is to lose against Feyenoord.

A draw will mean that they might not qualify automatically considering AZ and Twente are on their tails.

No No! This is simply not true. This is the scenario:

Winning is the best scenario, followed by losing and a draw would be the worst scenario for Heerenveen. I've seen that I made a mistake myself. If they win and both PSV and AZ win they will have QR3 and not QR4. It's quite complicated. Or not? I don't know it anymore.

Worst case scenario for Eredivisie:
PSV wins, Heerenveen wins, .....  If FC Twente then wins the Play-Offs, the Fair-Play ticket will go to Excelsior and the Cup ticket will go to Heracles. This gives:

CL: Ajax
CL Q3: PSV
EL4: Feyenoord
EL4: Heracles
EL3: Heerenveen
EL3: FC Twente
EL1: Excelsior -> And they will relegate

Best case scenario (one possible example): Heerenveen loses, AZ and others all win. Then Vitesse must win the EL Play-Offs against FC Twente and others.

CL: Ajax
CL Q3: Feyenoord
EL4: PSV
EL4: AZ
EL3: Heerenveen
EL3: Vitesse
EL1: FC Twente

I hope for the worst case scenario ;)

GD > 5 is wrong. Heerenveen are 11 goals behind on Feyenoord so that's pretty much mission impossible and especially without topscorer Dost.

Losing the game is far more easier and convenient.

No. If they win with 6-0, they will close a 12 goals gab. (+6 for Heerenveen, -6 for Feyenoord. (+6 - (-6) = 12) ) So if the GD (Goal Difference) in the match against Feyenoord is more than 5 (GD > 5), than they will end higher than Feyenoord. It's unlikely, but it's not wrong.

Winning is the best scenario for Heerenveen, since that gives them a chance for a better Europa League ticket.

So why not play for it? If it's 1-1 in the 90th minute they can always score an own goal and lose.

Let's hope they will because PSV has a much better chance in CL qualifiers considering coefficiency, but I honestly can't see Heerenveen put much effort into it tomorrow.

For Dutch Eredivisie it's best Feyenoord will qualify for the CL. We can better have Feyenoord in the CL than Heracles in the Europa League.

So then people who watch the Dutch league. Should be happy or sad if we sign this Luuk De Jong lad in the summer? Assuming he'll be the only striker signing that is. Has a great scoring record but it's always difficult to tell if that means he'll succeed in the Prem.

They gave it away after the 1-1

Crazy though, Excelsior, who will relegate since they are losing against PSV, are singing "Where is the party? Here is the party!!" because their bigger brother Feyenoord reached the CL.

In terms of clubs, Ajax and Feyenoord are both the moral winners of this season and it's good to see both de Klassieker teams on top together again.

AZ is probably the loser considering they were leading at the winter break and have ended up with nothing, at least PSV has the cup.

In terms of players Otman Bakkal might be the happiest while Fer and Wijnaldum may have 2nd thoughts about leaving Feyenoord over the summer.

In one word, terrible. Might have to do with being dissapointed perhaps that a transfer fell through.
