How much is stanmore to wembley return on the underground please. I get it as £7.50 for a day travel card! Surely that can't be right?

Might be cheaper if you specifically get a return to Wembley rather than a travel card unless you plan to make a few trips and stops at places.

Any one from down south who has been to Wembley before ?

What's the best way of getting there ? I would be travelling in to Waterloo. Or would driving somewhere round the M25/M40 and training in from there be better ?

Alright mate google Denham train station its just of the M40 as you come off the M25. Trains from there go straight to Wembley stadium costs about £6 return. Im getting the 12.01 train from there

I'll give that a google, thanks mate.

So far the best I have come up with is train to Waterloo and then (via Jubilee line) to Wembley Park Central for about £20ish return - but at least it means I could drink :)

Zones 1-4 is £7.70 all day so that will cover it there and back.

Anyone know if the car park on Fraser Street (or any of the Liverpool council car parks) shut the gates at midnight? It says on the website that it's open til midnight but if it goes to extra time and I'm late back, any ideas if I'll be able to get the car out?

Not sure about Fraser Street I'm afraid.

You could always try the long-stay car park at the train station, it's only a couple of streets over and definitely open 24 hours. http://www.apcoa.co.uk/carparks/liverpool-lime-street-station-long

I'll be stood in Manchester Piccadilly at 08:20 tomorrow morning not looking in any way whopperish......but club loyalties clearly on display.

Any fellow reds on that train to Euston? Dont think that it's dry like the Lime St ones! :)

My brother had his locked in one once, but it was about two years ago. Couldn't get it out till morning and had to pay extra charges

Not sure if I am posting in the right thread but can any one tell me what is the most convenient / cheapest way to get from Manchester to London via train? Please recommend me the websites so that I can purchase and collect tickets from overseas? Or can I simply purchase the tickets at Manchester train station? Appreciate your help. Please PM me if you can kindly help me. Thanks!

All being well that its the sat.

You can get a return from any Virgin station to Euston for £36 (give or take few £ depending on station) This ALSO includes all tube journeys etc for that day.

The tickets called "Super Off Peak Day Travelcard" can get it on Virgin website, just select open return.

See that's my problem, we're waiting until after the Everton game becuase if they get through we'll all go down together on our own coach, reds and blues. If they get beat though, could be a bit fucked for getting there. Ah well we'll sort something out I'm sure.

I've just seen - you can get London Midlland open return (open for one month) for £26.50.  Takes 3 hours 45 mins (with one change) each way but a touch cheaper.

Plus that wouldnt include the tube fare etc like the other one id imagine

Not if it's a day ticket and the game kicks off at 17.30pm. Your never going to get back to Euston in time to get to the last train on Saturday
