Was going to head to the ground on my lunch but after hearing about the queue thought id try online, 5 mins later all sorted. Much prefer to get them in my hand at the time but this will do.

After 2 hours in the queue and still being in the Kemlyn car park I got on the phone to my brother and he got them online.  All sorted in Block 113.  Altogether now "Please please please Mister Postman"

I guess a season-ticket holder with one credit in the competition deserves better choice of seats than a mere member/fan-card holder with six credits.

If the club felt that way, I'd have no objections. They should have reversed the sale order though if that was the case.

absolutely unbelievable that it takes 5 hours to buy a ticket, went through the same myself

It only takes 5 hours to buy a ticket if you choose to do it that way, no way you'd catch me queuing for 5 hours to get a ticket for a game I'm guaranteed one for, I've got better things to do with my time - not knocking anyone who has done like but if you choose to then moan about having done so I don't get that!

Not the 72 quid tickets. I was ringing for 3 and said to the lad that I wanted 3 behind the goal in the 72 quid part. He couldn't do that, even in singles.

Always has been the way that you are limited to what tickets whoever you ring has in their allocation though.  Part of the luck of the draw though rather than some grand conspiracy to fuck you over for tickets.  I was in the queue this morning when my brother managed to get decent seats online.  If he hadn't been able to get seats we wanted online then I would have kept queuing and taken my chances at the window

Got the ground 8.45  queued over 5 hours, got 4 row 22 block 108, £72. Fucking freezing one slow moving queue that.

Same as me mate. I got there about 8.30 and waited till 12. Then I had to leave for work and left my cousin with my season ticket and money, all sorted now :)

We wanted two tickets together and wasn't sure if you could do that online. I'll try for the Brighton game, try and learn.

I know its not a conspiracy, just annoying. The online part is more annoying than the phone lines.

I'll get over it like, just don't think someone with 2+ credits shouldn't have had the pick of the blocks and prices when people in a later sale do.

No, we didn't have the pick either.  Same story in this sale, it is the luck of the draw with which blocks are at your window, on the desk of your phone operator, or opened up for online sale at the time. It's not ideal but it is pretty much the only way they can do it.

Queueing for five hours is the only way to get the ticket in your hand without fretting about the TO and the postman for the next two weeks.  You should be careful mate you seem to be wilfully pulling the tail of the postal chaos karma tiger.

But well done lads all sorted!

i never chose to spend over 5 hours in sub zero temps! the point i'm making is it shouldn't take
that long, i expected it to be 2-3 hours max like it has done previously and having been 1 of those
involved in the 2006 tickets being robbed from the royal mail fiasco i'd rather have it in my greasy
little hand than trust a 3rd party. 5 hours plus is a fucking joke.

Has anyone else booked with Thomas Cook through the club for coach travel to Wembley? I booked on Friday and still yet to receive confirmation of my booking. No money has been taken out my account but need to know if I'm definitely guaranteed a seat! Just frustrating as the longer they leave it the less chance I have of booking an alternative.

I've got to be careful not to generate too much sympathy because it was my choice to stand around for 5 hours plus freezing like a penguin defending his eggs in the antartic just to buy a ticket ;D . Seriously didn't expect queues to be anything like that when I agreed to go down for the tickets for me and my mates last night as I was off work. Kept thinking about getting off and going on internet but wasn't sure about getting tickets together so suffered one hell of a wait but then again I've got the tickets in my hands which is comforting.

Has anyone had to buy a kid an adults ticket?

Me, I have. Daughter and I both qualified for the first sale, but I couldn't get through on the phones, first there were no operators available, then the message was that the TO was closed and then some message about Napoli Europa league tickets (yes, I'm sadly serious).  At this point I decided there were a bunch of the most incompetant buffoons out and decided to buy 2 adult tickets in lower east 121 online.

Very happy with our seats, VERY UNHAPPY that kids tickets can't be bought online.  Sersiously, why is this?  It makes no sense.  Each ticket has to be allocated to a membership card, so they know my daughter is only 12 as they have her date of birth.  How difficult would it be to make child tickets available online.

Just a query, if I had of got through on the phones would I have been able to get tickets in any bloc, or were they selling child tickets only in one bloc?  If that's the case I'm glad I paid the extra and got the seat of our choice.  As it is I'm glad I got good seats even with the phone debacle premium!

4 and abit hours for me in the que today.   kinell, i'm frozen, four hours queing in minus degrees weather.  Got to the ground about 10am and joined the que near the anfield road.

im in block107 i think (didnt even check or care by the time i got to the window) 72 quid.

Whats wrong with the club? why not 5 days of sale, mon -  main stand st holders, tue - kop season ticket holder, wed - cent st holders and on and on.

Since there's no guarentee of refund or duplicates for posted tickets and no chance of concessionary tickets online, of course most people are gonna que and want their tickets in their hand.  The stewards were turning people away at about 11am and telling em to comeback tomorrow.

Bloke behind me went to the first fa cup final at wembley in 65 and told story after story about how the ticket office used to sort the masses out for tickets, he said this is the worst he'd ever seen it.

Roll on Friday a.k.a "The Day of Destiny" when all us in the Ballot find out if it was "meant to be" !!!

Do you think they will release "data" post Ballot about how many qualified for the ballot, how many entered the ballot, etc, etc ??????

While I'm starting to feel more confident I don't think we are all guaranteed. Otherwise they'd be no need for a ballot. They'd just put them on sale to us on Thursday
