This cracks me up.  ;D

The caddie thought he was getting half the value of the car for Casey getting the hole in one. Turns out you only get the car if you get a hole in one on the 13th!

Barring a stunning putt from Furyk, Luke Donald is in a playoff to win the Transitions Championship and regain his World Number 1 Ranking. It is gutting to see the amount of coverage he has received compared to Rory in the past year, his performance this week is testament to that, an incredible effort to potentially get back on top so soon after being dethroned.

Happy for Donald, has to have a Major or two in him you'd think. Hope he can land one soon.

Tiger just sunk one from the rough to birdie the 16th and tie for the lead at the Memorial.  Win this and he equals Jack Nicklaus record of PGA Tour wins.

Was an amazing shot.

Royal Portrush.

First time ever a European Tour event has sold out all 4 days.

Great tournament so far, on a truly wonderful course.  Spectators have been brilliant. Going to be a good weekend.

So there will be no fans allowed on Saturday at the AT&T National after overnight storms damaged the course. Looks pretty eerie out there, it will be interesting to see the Pro's having to find their own ball if they go off track.

Anyone been watching much of the Scottish Open at Castle Stuart?

Molinari had a -10 under round yesterday and shares the lead with Sweden's Alex Noren who'll qualify for the Open with a win in the Highlands.

Been great viewing so far.

Rory Mc wins the Deutsche Bank Championship in Mass, by 1 shot from Oosthuizen. He shot a 67 to Oosthuizen's 71.

It's his 3rd PGA title of the year, and his 5th overall.

Tiger finished 3rd, a shot behind Oosthuizen.

Rory nearly threw that away at the end. Oosthuizen had his chances on 17 and 18 but never took them.

Hopefully Rory can take this good form into the Ryder Cup.

That makes him top of the Fed Ex standings as well, with two events to come.

Must say, I think the Fed Ex playoff system has made the 'post majors' part of the golf season a lot more exciting.

McIlroy leading the BMW on -19, one shot ahead of Westwood. Both have 4 holes to play. Mickelson, dustin Johnson and Singh are a further shot back. Should be a good finish to this.

McIlroy's second shot at 15 was brilliant. 225 yards with an iron and gets it to land soft within 15 feet of the pin.

Rory is in unbelievable form right now.  Clear #1.

Nice to see the likes of Mickelson and Westwood play well also.  Tiger and Dustin Johnson too.

Golf is very, very exciting these days.

Good to see Westwood coming into form.
She'd say, "Would you stop naming nuts!" And Hubert used to be able to make the sound, he couldn't talk, but he'd go "rrrawr rrawr" and that sounded like Macadamia nut. Pine nut, which is a nut, but it's also the name of a town. Pistachio nut. Red pistachio nut. Natural, all natural white pistachio nut.

Typical American approach to sport - McIlroy wins 2 out of first 3 play off rounds but could still lose the FedEx Cup if Woods Watney Mickleson or Snedeker win the Tour Championship even if he comes 2nd

Agree with you - apparently it was done to try to maintain the excitement right to the end. Think a few years back someone had it all wrapped up before the Tour Championship and made it a bit of a non event.

It has made it exciting but I don't think Rory will be too bothered; he's already shown he's the best in the world right now and I wouldn't even be surprised to see him win again in East Lake - he's playing so well that if he gets into a leading position it's virtually impossible to catch him as he's putting for a difficult eagle half the time and manages to set himself up for a simple birdie whereas others are putting for an easy par.

Underway at the European Tours flagship event, the PGA Championship at Wentworth. A strong field with all 12 european ryder cup players involved.

The only bets i've had is Rose to win at 12/1 and Rose first round leader at 20/1. I was on him here last year when he finished second behind Donald. Hopefully he can hold his nerve this time.

I've got the ipad in work with me. looking forward to the coverage starting on sky at 10am.

I went for McDowell and Westwood. McDowell was in form (although Matchplay) and Westwood is always solid round here I think. Also probably wasted a quid apiece on Chris Wood, James Morrison (local lad, led for a couple of rounds here last year) and Paul McGinley purely because he was 500/1 and hoping for a miracle!

McDowell is in great form with two wins recently. I've just put a few quid each way on Olesen at 66/1. He went out to +2 early on but is back to level par.
