Thought Carrick was better than scholes to be honest, played some brilliant passes and retained possession well, wasnt scared of using either feet too. Adam could learn from Carrick...
Would sacrifice Fordy in a sacred Mayan ritual to have him as the next Liverpool manager

Donjt be such a baddie, you. They can't all be Laudrup. The lad is what he is... a cheap squad player. He's only played so often because of injuries. He won't get on the pitch as much once we've got all our players back and we've had a new transfer window. You should look at the full half of the glass sometimes, instead of staring at the empty bottom half.

Give Adam a break. He did very well when he came on and from that moment I thought we might win.

Very different player when in a 3 with a dedicated DM.

Much more like the player we need him to be tonight.

Two assists today, some fantastic passes to the wings too. Was impressive.

I don't think he was anything special... He scares me when the opposition get the ball.  Usually I stand up for Adam, but this wasn't anything like his best.

Two assists. Hell yeah, Charlie! Not been his biggest fan, but he is great going forward. As long as we have a designated DM in the game, he has more than a decent game. Out of curiosity, how many assists/goals is that now for him?

Cracking game, hopefully we stick with 3 in the middle of the park, think it allows us, and him, to play our best football.
You have posted literally nothing of substance to flame about.  Your "points", and I dread to call them that, were superficial and completely arbitrary.  Nothing you said could be argued against because nothing you said elaborated a position of any kind.

He was crucial in beating Man United on Saturday and he was crucial in beating Wolves here tonight. Up yours to everyone who takes swipes at him, the man is a classy midfielder and proved it yet again tonight.

Incredibly hit and miss, he'll frustrate you one minute by trying a ridicilous ball or by going for goal himself and then come up with some brilliance that can change a game, just needs to hone his game a bit and he'll be great for us.

2 good assists but committed clumsy fouls and gave the ball away on occasion.

He doesn't perform consistently at a high enough level for anyone to claim some kind of positive Adam highground. He has been disappointing to date, and two assists don't change that.

I enjoy many parts of his game, but he frustrates me in others.

Frustrated the living hell out of me in the first half only to collect two assists and generally play better in the second half. He is in conclusion frustrating and inconsistent but capable of producing amazing moments of football.

Watch it again. For 30mins after half time he changed the game and controlled it.

He only seems to control when there's a decent DM about, the amount of times he gathers pace when we lose the ball then instantly drops off when he sees Spearing/Lucas/Gerrard, is quite scary.  I think his game would be 10 times improved if he got goal side and just covered - less silly fouls/cards, more protecting the back 4 and a bit more energy to get there... Once he has this sorted, I think he could be a very good player for us, and a starter for many seasons.

He's not half as bad as some are making out. He's a very decent player. He just needs pairing properly. Needs a good water carrier next to him, like Spearing today. Him and Gerrard in the centre is always going to be a disaster. Think Gerard and Lampard for England.
I think the same, can't stand him, but if you could have a £1million pound cheque or steve bruces head hollowed out and filled with pound coins which would you have?

Don't think anyone can disagree that he's much better in a midfield 3 with someone protecting the back 4 which gives him more license to get forward

I'd take 2 assists off the lad every game, can't wait to see him in a midfield with Gerrard and Lucas.

We only have 2 players on our books that could've played that ball for Carroll's goal - Steve Gerrard and Charlie Adam.

As such, we need to find a system to accomodate both, while longer term, look to improve the creativity of our squad.

Well played Charlie!

Yep. 2 very good assists and it helped him that Spearing played today. Still a bit iffy in the middle of the park which is something he definitely needs to improve on.

Cannot understand praise like this. Mindboggling.

Mindboggling? After every poor team performance, I see a load of Liverpool fans taking swipes at him, calling him "shite", writing him off as a "waste of money" etc.

Considering he's shown on plenty of occasions that he's a quality player, I find that mindboggling to be honest.
