All I did was wave at him saying bye bye, he gestured towards the exit and pointed at me in an agressive manner, I continued to wave which made him even more angry

Some City fans reporting that they (several hundred, some say well over 1000 of them) arrived 10-15 minutes late at the ground because of a crash on the M62. As a result there was lots of pushing and shoving to get through 4 turnstiles, which (apparently) left people in fear of being crushed outside the ground. Complaints about the police and stewards not sorting things out when all the fans arrived at the ground late.

I don't get it how some fans say they don't like Wembley, it isn't about whether you like London town, it is about the Anfield of the South, the spiritual home where we go to make more space for our trophy room. It is a tradition the club is proud about.

I'm a season ticker holder who actually lives in Manchester and had to make the same journey as the City fans. I was stuck on the M62 for over an hour and had to force my way through a large crowd of them that were stuck outside about 5/10 mins before kick off. There was no trouble, there were no indications that people were in danger or anything of the sort. The Police and Stewards had the situation firmly under control in my opinion. I managed to get through them and round to the Main Stand without any hassle or any fear of being crushed. I would agree that it was probably a good 1000 of them stuck outside though, that bit is a fair shout.

To be fair, there's enough of us that had to come in on the M62 as well.  I set off really early - it's not unusual for hold ups on the M6 or M62 so anyone with half a brain would have left in good time
