Good show from most of the lads. Bellamy was MOM and Kuyt had his best game of the season. Gerrard and Adam played a lot better than in the previous game. However wasnt impressed with Henderson and Downing both of whom need to contribute more to the team.

Played really well tonight and got what we deserved overall though we also deserved to win the game on the night. Nervous last few minutes but fuck it! Bellamy was just awesome, really wish he could start every game

Strange how we dominated the match, had so so many chances to put the game out of reach yet another thriller for the fans... such difference from the Bolton game. We have to get that sorted. Lucky next match is against the scums, could get even better!!

Great result, and hopefully one that gets our season back on track - we can now look forward to Saturday with confidence.

Bellamy playing so well at the moment, just a shame he may struggle to play on Saturday, hope he can.

The whole team played well, some great football, but the negative, as always, was the fact we nearly threw it away by not taking our chances, then falling asleep for the goals

Are you serious? I thought they both had great games, Hendo put an amazing shift in, particularly in the second half when he covered more ground than just about anyone plugging holes and breaking down their play. Outstanding performance from both, the whole team in fact. Great to see our new(ish) signings doing so well - well done to Charlie, Hendo and Downing. Great game by Kuyt too. Bellamy was fucking sensational!

Probs one of the best forward displays I've seen from a Premier League player this season from Bellamy.

Joe Hart has really become a top, top drawer keeper over the last year or so. Immensely impressive. As others have said, without him it would have been 5 or 6 to us.

Great result, Man City didn't do a lot apart from have a load of possession in their own half and in the middle third. We stayed deep towards the end but that was to be expected I suppose, at least we weren't hanging on.

Bellamy = fantastic performance. Up top on his own (for the majority) he harried their defenders and was a pain all night. Superb.

Johnson and Enrique weren't at the top of their games and there was a fair bit of stray passing (on both sides) but we deserved to win, over both legs the better side imo.

Now let's have a trophy!!!

Thoroughly deserved and I thought the players that were getting a bit of stick beforehand all stood up to be counted. If it wasn't for Hart that tie would of been out of sight after 60 minutes. While I'm delighted that we're in a final, I'm a bit frustrated that we're so far away from City. We've played them four times and competed on every occasion, even the 3-0 defeat, we're not that far away just need that extra bit of quality in the squad.

Craig Bellamy has been a truly inspirational signing and is still good enough for that City side in my opinion.
