You'll forgive me for taking the piss a bit.. but it is still just a CC final.  I just hate to think what will happen if we can't overcome those giants of football, Cardiff City

Banned for a month - see you after the final. Maybe you'll understand what winning trophies means to Liverpool....

Kenny is taking us to Wembley to continue one of our traditions.

Who or what has made you think that the League cup doesn't matter? Are you saying that it means nothing that we are the most successful club ever in this competition? It should be important to you.

I don't think it's important to people who aren't Liverpool fans mate.

Wow. A long and heartstopping 90 mins. Think Kenny reaffirmed his faith in players by not bringing on early subs after they justified themselves on the field. Arrogant city celebrations for first goal but what a result  ;D ;D ;D

Thought Kuyt was excellent tonight.Ran his socks of and closed them down all game.

...and played some great passes. Dirk gets pigeon holed alot with great workrate but it shouldnt overlook his technical game which was excellent tonight .

Downing had a good game today, nice to see. Bellamy was brilliant tonight, i was surprised to see him start but i'm glad he did!

Gerrard a little timid after the injury and the yellow card tonight. Kuyt did well defensively, still offers little upfront. Adam is still way out of form. Enrique was not the level we have seen him recently, but every player has those games.

Thought Henderson put in an amazing shift, chased down everything.

Good win, cannot wait for the final. Still hope we get a injection of quality before then though!

If it's not too much trouble, can people please stop quoting the WUMs, just for the sake of adding an equally inane "Fuck off".
If we're having to spend time (rightly) removing the original idiot, then you're making us waste even more by removing your re-quotes, too...

should have been 5~2 if it wasnt for Hart, admittingly the shots were mostly at him, still pulled off great saves to keep them in the tie but you know us, always THE HARD WAY but its a great feeling. We need to play like this in the Finals!! Here we go again~~~~
The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.

I trust the King, but if we lose a few more on the trot now - he may have to step aside, and we have to purchase another manager in the middle of the season. If we are relegated, this could be the end of our ambitions to win any title the next 100 years.

Made up. MUCH better performance. Credit to Kenny for that kick up the arse and credit to the players for reacting so well. The likes of Downing and Henderson really stepped their game up. Bellamy was sensational, as was Stevie. Great to see the King enjoying the moment and really hope we can see him with the league cup in his hands soon.
And on the pedestal these words appear:
"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains.
