Jim McGuinness is like Brendan Rodgers in GAA form.
Its very hard not to admire what McGuinness has done. Iv wished him well from the start as he gave great service to Tralee IT and was part of one of the greatest Sigerson teams ever assembled which included names like Joyce, Donnellan, Moynahan, Darragh O'Se and O'Cinneide.
Having done his sociology thesis on the GAA its easy tell he's a real intellectual of the game. Your Rodgers comparison is correct in aspect to trying to create a total football mentality, something last year which seemed to only encompass grueling defending which sought to stifle opponents, this year half backs overlap forwards and act as such with the sides new found cutting edge.
What else is impressive is The loss of of Kevin Cassidy has done nothing to chip at their belief in their manager, if anything the loss of the 2011 All Star has strengthened that side. There is not a more committed or better prepared team in the country. Coming from being public enemy number one last year, they are rightly receiving plaudits for their attacking play, if only they had adopted it in the semi final last year when they had the Dubs on the racks, it could have been all so different.
Oh yeah and it goes without saying I think they are better than Dublin
