why is that so ??
It's the baseball snob in me talking. You know what, though, it's probably not that bad considering that it's a football pitch this time around, and that it's an evening game. The reason I don't like the bleachers is because you're isolated from the rest of the park, and are blocked off the other areas, and are pretty much trapped in 20% of the park. Fenway's awesome to walk around in, but since this is a football match and not an oft-interrupted game of rounders, it shouldn't matter.
Here's my usual vantage point - this from last Monday -

The Liverpool section - i.e. bleachers - is straight across under the big screen and the New Balance sign, to the left of the Budweiser ad. It's not haunted, and you don't get that much atmosphere out there. I suppose they stuffed us there because they figured there'd be more of us. On the bright side, you get a great view of the rest of the park, and the views are unobstructed. For a football match, it's not that bad at all, on second thoughts.
I ended up mixing the 20 tickets across three sections - 2, 29, and 36.
Brekkie and beer at my place. Campeador's your uncle.
