didn't realise this was the first time england have ever won all three away games in the same six nations season.

They've only been playing three aways in alternate seasons since 2000 and considering that one of those three aways is always France it isn't that surprising that they haven't won all three until now.

who can win the Six Nations apart from Wales?

I fancy a cheeky £2 bet as I'm sure the odds would be very high and the outcome unlikely..

Only England but they would have to batter Ireland and hope that France did the same to Wales. Both would be equal on championship points but England would win on points difference.

I think it's bloody stupid to leave Tipuric out and put Charteris on the bench. Tips was many people's MOTM last week and Ryan Jones could cover 2nd row leaving Tips to cover the back row especially given Warbuton's injury worries....

oops. Im working too hard.

OK. England win by a small margin against an ageing Irish team.   The Irish regulars in here always enjoy the 'ageing' comment so its especially for them.

By the way, was in Paris for the weekend. What a game and what an atmosphere.  But that stadium, without heart and soul.

Was chatting to a couple of French fans over the weekend and they all prefer the old Parc de Princes. I was their a few times in the 90s and it was a real bear pit of a place with steepling stands so close to the pitch...always a raucous ground, especially when Les Rosbif were in town.

Made me think a little bit about Cardiff v New Wembley.

Anyway, enough of Paris, back to that ageing Irish team...

Made me think a little bit about Cardiff v New Wembley.

The Millennium Stadium is as close to perfection as it gets for a new and modern stadium, IMO. Absolutely shits all over Wembley. Loads of pubs nearby, you can have a drink out on the streets, it's big, it has atmosphere, it has character... it's just brilliant. I'd love for them to play the semi finals of the FA Cup there. It's just so much better than Wembley.

And as above - any late spares for Cardiff tomorrow - give me a shout, up until about 5 hours to KO! My brother's driving down today, and I'm gutted I couldn't afford to buy the tickets at the same time as he got his :(.

Only been to Cardiff for some of our finals, never for the rugby but completely agree with that. The fact you can be having a pint in (or outside) the ground and then in your seat within about 10 minutes makes it so much better than Wembley.

He was, if I remember correctly, the captain of the Wales team that toured Canada in 1975 (I believe), that I played against.  They were serious drinkers those lads ;D

Have England lost one already then?

Thoughts on tomorrow? It feels like it's slipped under the radar a little. We have an awful recent record against Ireland so could do with putting that right! An England win and it consitutes a very decent campaign.

France surprisingly beat them by a couple of points. England are big favorites to win tonight.

In the seniors I reckon England will win. Although Ireland are the top try scorers so you never know.

Ended 20-9. England very dominant and should have won by more. Ireland with some shocking tackling and when we did get momentum knocked it on almost every time.

England top the table and Ireland finish 3rd even though they were going for the grand slam..

Was looking at the betting with Paddy Power for the total points scored yesterday. 31-43 was 11/10 and 44+ was 11/5.

It's pretty hard to call how it'll go. Looking forward to a good game.
