line up looks distinctly average and demonstrates just how far off a champiionship winning team we are.  think we're in for a frustrating afternoon.

however still expect a win which is all that matters today. but i cant see that lineup producing a slick pacing move all afternoon. expect lots of long balls, misplaced passes, increasing crowd tension and a scrapy 2-1.

Appreciate what your saying, but as has happened before with us, it is this kind of so called "negative" line up that has produced some decent football and results to boot in the past. Think Kenny is thinking 3 pts is a must today and it is. Line up, other than maybe Carroll and Agger who is injured is as expected id guess.

We've had all the possession, but there's never anyone in the box. Game needs Carroll or Bellamy.

Reina out, Bellamy in. He's had nothing to do.

But on a serious note, we haven't looked this bad. I'd bet my mortgage on it staying 0-0.

What a boring boring game.. We have been dreadful in terms of quality and penetration in the final third and have too few players in the box.

Get Bellamy on, we need the three points.

I’m looking at our penalty area and it is often empty. A really poor first half with no sign of goals so far. More bodies in the box please.

Think everyone is playing pretty well.  the only problem is we are set up to draw 0-0.  Need to make a change as we aren't getting enough players in the box.  Big Andy needs to come on at halftime for Downing.

Stoke happy to leave with a point and nothing thus far to suggest that they wont.

It's not working tactically for us and at present has nil nil written all over it.

Very flat. Our crossing is dire, but then again if it does manage to get pass their first man, there's no one there today anyway.

Toothless up front. Plenty of possession but no real threat. Our best chance will be from a set piece. Not enough people in the box. Comfortable from us, but really nothing for Stoke to worry about at this stage.

Not good enough, everything is sideways and backwards at all times we have just one person in the box at best. This is heading the way of 0-0 or Stoke to nick it if it carries on like this, just no penetration what so ever. Coates has been good though, some great passes from him and an Agger like run.

Now substitute Carragher, go down to 4-2-3-1, admit you've made a mistake tactically and go and TRY TO SCORE AGAINST FUCKING STOKE???

Our main method of attack seems to be to pass the ball around a bit, then get it wide and put in a hopeful cross, yet we never get any men in the box. And we wonder why we never fucking score? Sigh.

Are we playing some sort of 3-4-1-1 formation here? Why has it been changed so much, also this just isn't working, they're comfortable, need more support upfront, these tactics and formation from us is suiting Stoke really well, big changes needed, I'm not sure why we started with this team or mindset though, still 45 minutes to change it though.
Can't remember all of it but I remember I was in bed with Paul Bearer making proper passionate love to him, and then all of a sudden he was tossing me off
