It is Indian captain Bhaichung Bhutia's farewell game. Bayern have a great relationship with India. They played Calcutta club Mohun Bagan in Oliver Kahn's testimonial too. Bhutia, incidentally, once played for Bury.
I would prefer a

R.Ferdinand - Terry - A.Ferdinand

Defence.

Hahaha I remember that fiasco oh too well.

Yeah looks to be coming on this half as Bayern steam roll the Indian NT.

Seb's goal was a peach top corner from edge of the box great curl on it.

Muller outstanding for his second worked well to get past 2 defenders and the keeper for a tap in really.

Robben has had a few good runs on the wing as well.

Schweinsteiger is so underrated. Glad to see he's back from injury.

Ah he's not that underrated at all, he's widely regarded as a class player.  I think the main reason he doesn't get mentioned more in the euro press, as in the English, Spainish and Italian footballing press is that there's no chance of anyone signing him from Munich.

De Rossi of Roma is in similar bracket, as of course was/ our own Stevie.

Bayern are now routinely touring India whenever they get the chance.

Very smart move, no other club has promoted itself in the Indian market like Bayern have.

Oliver Kahn played his last ever game for Bayern in India not too long ago.

Went to the game.  Men vs boys.  There was probably an agreement not to make it look too embarassing, though India improved in the second half.  Neuer was struggling to keep warm. Muller is an extraordinary telent and Rafinha is huge.
