Another great away win for the Pacers against Minnesota this time.15-6 baby!!!
Kevin Love is a whiny bitter bitch.Look what he said after the match. He must have been on drugs or something....

"I've said all along," Love said, "I don't like the Pacers."
Love and Pacers forward Danny Granger almost came to blows with 23.7 seconds remaining the third quarter after Love was whistled for a foul and Granger approached him aggressively.

Players bumped into each other, with Michael Beasley and Martell Webster helping separate the pair. But like just about every fight in the NBA, it was all talking and no punching.

"(They think) they are so tough," Love said. "They take those pills and they got all that toughness. I don't know where that comes from. They all think they are tough guys. I just don't know where that comes from. It just blows my mind. They are all tough and that makes me laugh."

http://www.1500espn.com/sportswire/Kevin_Love_fired_up_after_incident_in_loss_I_dont_like_the_Pacers020112

This has to be even worse than Kevin "bar fight" Garnett.

At least he was high on the comeback

That sort of stuff is great. Teams should hate each other, have long memories, and play like it really matters to them.

He said stupid things though.I'm all in for competition, teams having long memories and hatred but don't act like an utter twat and a bitter loser after the game.Had he been around 90's,he would have regretted this interview and got what was coming for him next time. The Davis(Antonio and Dale) fellas would have a field day with a guy like him.

Kevin Love simply is an idiot.

How he didn't get a technical from that play last night is beyond me. The dude is always looking for calls, holding onto other players and falling over. Not a fan.

Anyways Yiannis, how long and why do you follow the Pacers?

His comments will still be remembered I think. Future games are going to be fun. Maybe I'm being naive but by 'pills' I feel like he means 'crazy pills'. Don't think he's saying you're lot are on roids or something.

For the record I don't feel anythign either way about Love. He is putting up great numbers though. Do people think he should have got the max deal.

I do however like Indiana. Good basketball state. Great roster.

Wolves have made good progression this season too. 10-12 is not too bad.

Next Thursday the all star reserves will be announced. If somehow big Roy is not in there, then it will be another proof that the NBA is rigged ;D

LiverLuke, there is speculation about us absorbing Kaman's(the Hornets have put him on their trade list and he doesn't get any minutes at all as they try to develop their younger players) 14m $ expiring contract.Personally i would love us to have him as Roy's backup and it would make us even stronger as a team and it will massively boost our frontcourt. The great thing is that we can acquire Kaman without giving up anything(if NO are okay with it of course and don't want any 1st round draft pick for example) as we are 14,5m under the cap.Speaking of it Larry has done quite some job over there, building a competitive team and at the same time having so much cap space

We are gonna write a check to the league btw if we remain that way after the trade deadline cause we are under the minimum.lol

By jove, perchance did you see that dunk registered? ;D

yep i remember russilo saying how much cap space we have left, just a testament to what vogels done with the team to be a force with that much space left. Kamen would be a nice pick up if they don't want him, fosters getting on a bit so it would be nice to have some more back up for roy and give us even more depth. that dunk was awesome btw :D paul george is a real talent.

K Mart to the Clips! That's such a good move for them. If he stays healthy, I think they are going to the Finals. Them against the Heat would probably be the greatest series of modern times.

Things like this happened all the time in the 90s.. they just were never a big deal because that's the way the game was played.  So when a guy basically goes out of his way to call the other team a bunch of pussies, it's a news story now.  I miss the days where they would let the guys throw a punch before breaking it up :(

Well you can't really say one way or another if Love is a pussy.  I mean we know guys like Ron Artest aren't pussies because they played in the league before it was a soft product.  And most of what NBA players barely makes any sense anyways haha.

Queensbridge Projects to be exact. An absolute war zone. Not somewhere anyone would want to have to live.
The one most important thing that we all must remember, in case it slipped our mind, is this club is much more important and bigger than anybody. I'll never forget that and anybody that does is being a wee bit irresponsible and stupid I think because the club is more important than any one individual. The Club is, The Club.

How is that stupid? I lived in Cleveland for his entire tenure there, and even though I'm a Celtics fan, it kind of bums me out the way he went about his leaving. It's a real blight on his personality, and I'd be very happy if karma bit back and he never won a ring.

Just because you dont want him to make it to the Finals, doesnt mean its not going to happen. If you are trying to say that the Celtics are better than the Heat - than I was, respectfully, saying you are stupid.

No chance the Celtics get past the second round IF they can muster a win in the first.

The time when such events had a chance at being the best part of the NBA season is long gone...
