Why didnt you? they sang it about 3 times. My favourite was andy carroll, he looks like a girl  ;D
The cameras caught Carroll on the touchline laughing at them when they were singing that - by his expression he was saying "how old are  you?"

Probably will be. Cold night at Anfield and if after 30 minutes there's no goal, you'll find it pretty quiet I reckon.

Always feel bad criticising the home atmosphere because I don't see why anyone not there should be complaining.

However, fuck me that was awful today. Worst for quite a while.

Exactly how I feel. Never heard it like that before.

in the crowds defense, its not easy to sing and shout when you only have a 1-0 lead and especially when the other team are attacking, its not really human nature.
pretty easy to criticize the crowd when your sitting at home.
if you wanna be the best you gotta beat the best

I'll make two predictions of this...Carroll won't score 3 PL goals total for the rest of the year and we won't score 5 against any team all year.  We might still get CL football without either happening.

Well I'm criticising the crowd and I was in the Kop. It was shit from word go, nothing to do with leading 1-0 and them attacking.

Considering the support we had against City which was far more thrilling then the United game and those 2 Chelsea games, really expected Anfield to be buzzing. Really disappointed.

Was you actually at the game? It was the same as norwich, swansea and wolves. The back blocks of the kop singing and the lower blocks of the kop sipping on their cups of tea and eating hotdogs, while the rest of the ground just moaned and did their usual shit.

IT always seems that the big games has a totally different attendance(mostly), no camera in sight and most people seem really up for it and actually join in whenever possible, against the small teams its totally different, everytime this season against the smaller teams i have been surrounded by germans, norwegians and people from around the world and well alot(not all) of these people really don't give a shit about supporting the team, infact most of them don't even know the words, they don't even sing ynwa, i really do wonder why this type of person even bothers.

Haven't been to any games this season. But it's the first time I've ever heard one of our players get crucified by the away fans and not heard us sing anything back. Most of the first half all you could hear was "Luis Suarez, he looks like a rat" and booing him every time he was on the ball.

Like I said, I feel like a bit of a tit making any comment at all seeing as I wasn't at the game. But just from the tele and due to what they were singing about Luis, I thought it was shocking.

Hate opinions like this. Their spend gives money to the club to allow them to buy players like Suarez, who contributed to us winning the game that gives those who want to something to sing about.

Then in the midddle out pops a smiling glen johnson pulling up his jersey to reveal a t-shirt of suarez with a text saying. "OUR SUAREZ IS A FRIEND TO ALL COLOURS!"

this all ends with a loud "we willl never walk alone!" war cry from all the players1

Yeah that suarez song followed by LIVERPOOL FANS laughing at it thinking it was fucking hilarious, jesus christ so many bellends.

I did hear the back blocks on the kop trying and get a few things going, some lads even tryed to get the new lucas song going but you really cant hear it on TV unless the lower blocks join in which never really happens for some reason

Its been shite all season, noit just this one. We have the same conversations after every home game about the same thing. It was dire today. I felt ashamed to be there looking down at the KOP sat there all silent whilst the away fans made us look like a library.

I come away from stamfords bridge last week saying that the Chelsea fans are shite....we im sorry to say....our home fans are fuckin shite!!!

Yeah but the chelsea fans are shite even when playing a top team, its quite the opposite at anfield and well most teams have shite atmospheres against the shite teams.

It's just a general state of apathy throughout 90% of the ground, I could explain the reasons and the solutions but I just can't be arsed.
One thing does need to be said: in the post-Benitez era, there was media-led clamour (but also some politicking going on at the club) to make the club more English; the idea being that the club had lost the very essence of what it means to be ‘Liverpool’. Guillem Ballague 18/11/10

Were you at the UTD game?? for 70 mins of that game it wasnt anything like what it should be and it was nowhere near what it was last yr when we beat them 3-1. The city game was good in the secxond half when we come into it and were putting them under pressure, but thats as close as i've seen it to being 'a good atmosphere'.

We build ourselves up to be this great fanbase and have this ground where everyone fears coming and playing, but in reality apart from the odd 'big game' and european games, its lost the spark and we get outsang by the opposition fans. Its heartbreaking, it really is  :(

Wasn't the best today, had some Brummie on the back row of the Kop giving Downing loads all game, in the same way Lucas got abused when he was first here by some.

Countless times, I told him to shut up or to support the team, only for him to bring out the excuse "Well I supported Voronin" and the abuse to get louder and more constant. He even booed Downing off the pitch!

If this is what our home support is coming too, I really do fear for the next generation of lads coming through who genuinely support the team. I can see a time when most decent fans will jib off the homes and just go the aways.

I know people who have started this already, its sad...

its not just the singing, most of the fans dont have it in them to give the ref abuse when he gets it wrong,or curse the opposition when they foul our players.
when Suarez took stick off their fans instead of giving it back some of our lot found it amusing and just let it go.
its finished at Anfield, but weve known that for years.

Meh, wasn't the best but about on par with most games against smaller clubs. Was in 305, and we were singing a bit. 306 even manged to get Liverbird upon my chest going, first time I've heard that at the match in absolute ages! It's nearly christmas, sang Oh come all ye faithful too. :)

It was quiet at times, some lad a couple rows done even started going "shhhhhh" because nobody was singing. It just wasn't worse than normal to be honest.

Bit surprised about the amount of people on here that complain during the match that Anfield is quiet! Are you at home, moaning at the telly? Or are you posting from your phones, sitting somewhere in the mainstand moaning?

Oh go on, you know you want to......... Unless you've gone all apathetic in here as well?  I doubt that though!

I can't believe anyone looked at the fixtures and thought ooohh QPR just before Crimbo that's gone be an atmosphere to remember. The funny thing is everyone goes on about not enough games being at 3PM on a Saturday for me it's the opposite 3PM Saturday's games are almost always totally devoid of atmosphere. Add in a team that is going to come and try and kill the atmosphere and was anyone really expecting anything different.

It's just the way it is now we have become a crowd of game raisers, if it's a big game against a big team we put a bit of effort in, if it's not then we just sit on our hands and moan and grumble. The Aul bastards have always done it.  It's just now we are the Aul Bastards and the next generation can't afford to come through.

Look on the bright side imagine how hard it would of been trying to take a decent photo or update your Facebook in a swaying Kop with a hairy arsed docker pissing down your leg.
