Málaga are going to sign Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo for €14M

I wouldn’t class a 26 year old as actually being young.
And all the world is football shaped, It's just for me to kick in space. And I can see, hear, smell, touch, taste.

His best performance was against Chelsea when they held a 1-1 draw when they could of won. He ran Ivanvoic ragged for 80 minutes that they had to take him off and bought on Paolo Ferriera who I forgot even played for them and he wore that stupid face mask (zorro-esque) and ran him ragged.

I approve of your eye!
agreed; Frei looks to be a little talent.
Nice shot on him too

Amsterdammer Adam Maher has won the Eredivisie talent of the year award. He's now the 3rd consecutive player living in Amsterdam that won it after van der Wiel and Eriksen.

Clubs interested need not to apply, he's destined to join Ajax soon just like another born and residing Amsterdammer Narsingh. :D

If we are looking for a backup DM to Lucas then Beram Kayal of Celtic would be a good shout. Similar player, very robust, great tackler and would probably be happy with a squad role. I know Kenny has scouted him before and is a fan so I wouldn't rule it out - just turned 24. Also a Muslim who plays for Israel and lived his childhood in Israel so I'm sure has a strong mentality too (probably not the easiest situation to be in politically at times)

Ola John will mustlikely be a Benfica player next season. Portuguese newspapers talk of a done deal and the transfer to happen as soon as Twente ends the playoff... Around 6M€.

Yep, but the 6m is what Benfica have offered. Twente want 12m, so expect a sum inbetween somewhere.

Whatever happened to Marvin Martin?

Used to be one of the most sought after upcoming young players in France and has since fallen off the limelight.

Sochaux is hanging on just above the bottom 3 with still a game to go and 1 point separating them. Hate to say this, but this if anything screams moneyball, this deal could be it.

The french press last week said Lille want him to replace Hazard & are in talks.

Money seems to be Kayal's ( i may be being a bit harsh but it looks that way) motivation so that might tempt him but i'm doubtful he'd be happy with a squad role.  He deffinitely is mentally strong and it shows in the way he plays (reason i don't think he would be happy as a squad player).

So far in his Celtic career he has had a hernia which kept him out for 3 months last season, a broken nose, a broken arm and his most recent, an ankle injury.  Will not pull out of a tackle for anyone.

Celtic will hopefully have the not for sale sign up...hopefully.

Ajax have bid for Narsingh apparently.

Not yet formally. Heerenveen has asked Ajax to work it out with Narsingh first and then make an offer. A transfer seems imminent unless Heerenveen are asking for too much. Elia has been named as an alternative, not surprisingly another ex Ajax youth player.

Ajax are also looking to bring Vitesse's Buttner back to Amsterdam. He played 7 years in the academy and has recently said that he would love to go back to Ajax. Buttner is a strong candidate for one of the LB spots in the Dutch squad for the EC now that Pieters has ruled himself out.

He has been mentioned thanks to a quick search - Jordy Clasie. Saw him on a free espn night or something, Feyenoord v Ajax... only saw him once. But he was so good. After 20 mins he was the only player I wanted to watch. If you want a deputy to Lucus, then that would be a shout. I'm only typing this now as I saw he was up for a player of the year award. Bright in the head, bright in the foot.

He won the silver shoe. Ajax players Vertonghen and Eriksen won gold and bronze. Adam Maher from AZ won the talent award.

Wasn't there talk of us doing a player swap with Feyenoord for Kuyt? Clasie sounds like the ideal candidate from their squad.

Think the player mentioned was De Vilhena from their youth teams.

Haha one of my best mates is a Leeds fan and he certainly rated him, he was convinced he'd do it in the premiership.

In other news that French journo who was talking about Belhanda says we are favourites to sign him, pinch of salt and all but I thought I'd mention it.

Look's like a toss-up between Belhanda and Gaston Ramirez for us. To those that watch the young players, who would suit us better?
Hating people because of their color is wrong. And it doesn't matter which color does the hating. It's just plain wrong.

I find Giroud to Bayern a bit odd, unless Gomez is leaving.

Dortmund chairman said in the same report that they expect Kagawa to leave, but that the other two are going nowhere.
Mbiwa doesn't make any sense, Montpellier will be in the Champions league next season, He's not going to leave them for Gladbach, it wouldn't be a step up for him, IMO.

Smart move from Bayern considering their backup strikers Olic, Petersen and Usami should be on their way out.
