Have a look at espn's 30 for 30 series, obviously US centric but they're outstanding (might be able to find some on youtube).

Ken Burns series on baseball and Jack Johnson are inevitably top bollocks, if you can get hold of them.
When your Mum used to pick you up from school and you'd run out and be like 'Mummy I got 9/10 in the spelling test today', would she go 'phenomenal, son'.

Cos if she did she's a stupid fuck.

This is good for downloading most things, including documentaries

http://www.warez-bb.org

Good sports docos I've watched:

Ken Burns Baseball (10 parts)
Beyond the Mat
Charismatic (ESPN)
From the Ashes
Fire in Babylon
Harlem Globetrotters: The Team That Changed the World
Herschel
Hoop Dreams
Maradona
Murderball
Once in a Lifetime: The Extraordinary Story of the New York Cosmos
Racing Dreams
Riding Giants (fantastic documentary on the evolution of big wave surfing)
Senna (just superb)
Steve Bartman: Catching Hell
Tyson
When We Were Kings
The History of Football: The Beautiful Game
The Man Who Cycled the World
Bobby Fischer Against the World (not strictly sport but worth watching to see how mental he was)
Facing Ali
All the HBO Legendary Nights (background to great fights)
Sonny Liston - The Champ Nobody Wanted
Sugar Ray Robinson - Bright Lights, Dark Shadows
Unforgivable Blackness - The Rise and Fall of Jack Johnson
Communism & Football
Football & Fascism
Storyville - Barca the Inside Story
Storyville - Gods of Brazil Pele & Garrincha

That little lot should keep you going for a while mate, some belters there. Enjoy.

"Undefeated" won this year's Oscar for best documentary. It's about American football, but still very recommendable. Will probably also be on warez-bb.

Saw the Steve Bartman doc a few weeks back. Thought it was excellent.
He's got a tattoo on his wrist that says "I hate blackie blackie blackie blacks, and I fucking love handballing it into the opponent's goal and away from my own goal, and biting people, and kicking young kids in the bollocks when they ask for autographs. And diving. I fucking love that."

Doesn't look like that one is up on Warez-BB but there's a seeded copy on the good old Pirate Bay. http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/4249700/BBC_Storyville_2002_Gods_Of_Brazil_Pele_And_Garrincha_Dvbc_Xvid_

If there's any in my list you'd really like but can't get hold of, PM me as I have copies on my hd. I could upload them for you. About time I gave something back.

There's links already up for most of these on Piratebay & Warez BB. I'll post them when I get a minute, this time tomorrow probably. I'll also upload the missing ones. Bear with me though as I've just started a new job and things are a bit mental.

Watche Wrestling with Shadows. Pretty decent. Only confirms what I already know. McMahaon is a scumbag, albeit a very clever scumbag.
Ta for the tip mate.

Ya Shawn Michaels doesnt cover himself in glory either. Swearing that he knew nothing about it. Ive read his book and it confirms they had it well planned out....

Broad Street Bullies is a 2010 documentary film produced and directed by veteran documentary filmmaker George Roy for HBO Sports. It chronicles the National Hockey League's (NHL) Philadelphia Flyers from their beginnings as an expansion team in 1967, to their back-to-back Stanley Cup championships (1974, 1975), and three straight Finals appearances (1974--76).
The film includes clips and photos from the era, along with interviews with players, writers, broadcasters, and other individuals involved with the Flyers and/or NHL hockey during that period. It is narrated by Liev Schreiber.

The Two Escobars .

Pablo Escobar was the richest, most powerful drug kingpin in the world, ruling the Medellín Cartel with an iron fist. Andres Escobar was the biggest soccer star in Colombia. The two were not related, but their fates were inextricably-and fatally-intertwined. Pablo's drug money had turned Andres' national team into South American champions, favored to win the 1994 World Cup in Los Angeles. It was there, in a game against the U.S., that Andres committed one of the most shocking mistakes in soccer history, scoring an "own goal" that eliminated his team from the competition and ultimately cost him his life. The Two Escobars is a riveting examination of the intersection of sports, crime, and politics.

I actually purchased Fire In Babylon recently - highly recommended, and purchased it for 3 others as presents. I exchanged a small part of the money I earn, in exchange for these films as part thankyou, part collective hug and part vote - as in, yes this is the kind of thing I'd like people to invest in more production wise- and not the billions of pounds worth of shite that you think I want to watch.
