12 years with Udinese has come to an end, got sacked and took the Juventus job but half the players now are made up players. Debating whether to start a new season altogether and leave this one for a bit.

Was enjoying my Liverpool save... but that's seriously tempting.

Likewise, looks fantastic.

It's a really good game! You have to download the Belarus leagues but I think they're in the first post from that link. Also make sure when you're starting a new game you have "Add players to playable teams" ticked. Otherwise you will only have around 3 players at the start.

You're whole team is mostly just regens. In fact the bottom couple of tiers is all regens. Kinda what I like about it. Nobody's game will be the same as nobody has the same players etc.

That kinda defeats the point for me. If you don't know which teams/players are good then how are you going to adjust your tactics?

Nah, something different.

I'll still be keeping my Liverpool save on hold, just soemthing to do for a bit. Should be interesting, getting to know your team and the leagues, will be able to see how well the dynamic league reputation, or whatever it's called, works too.

I don't think this game would be your cup of tea at all then. It's more about developing your youth players as they're all you have really. Seeing if you can use your academy players to get up through the leagues and into Europe.

It's inevitable that you'll become one of the top teams if you play enough seasons, which ruins it too.

Isn't that the same with all saves though? It may well get boring, especially as I'll be churning out the best players in the league season-in season-out but oh well. ;D

I've been doing this challenge here lately. A team in the Belarussian 4th tier but they have the best training and youth facilities in the game. It's a good game if you're looking for something long term to play.

That looks great, gonna give that a go tomorrow!

That kinda defeats the point for me. If you don't know which teams/players are good then how are you going to adjust your tactics?

Depends on the way you're playing I guess. I usually only care about my team and my players. I use the same tactics all the time. Changing them around in various situations, i.e. more defensive if I'm leading opposite when I'm a goal down or two. So, I don't really care about the opposition.

What I enjoy most playing with unknown teams in unknown leagues, is that there is absolutely no bias at all. I mean, I have some players I know from older versions of the game (for example, I love Matty Done and Theo Robinson because they were great for me in a save with FM08 or FM09), but playing in League Two or so, I have no idea of who the good players are or who I should get rid off, if I'm taking over a team. I only look at how they're doing and whether their stats are good enough for the role I'd like them to play.

Playing with Liverpool, it's a bit different. Reputation or whether I like a player in RL has much more influence on my decisions. That's why I feel it's harder playing with Liverpool than with say Hereford (I like them after that one game in FM08 or 09).

Quite realistic that game. Replay 4th round FA-Cup. I'm playing at home against Brighton and it's the start of February. I have quite a lot of games this month and I believe that I can rest a few players, so I leave out Lucas, Tymoschuk and Gerrard. In come Henderson, Spearing and Fabio Aurelio. 65 minutes played, Aurelio has to go off injured in his first game in about half a year... ;)

finished 3rd overall and lost in the playoffs with salisbury, lost the FA trophy final 1-0, board sacked me despite me exceeding all expectations  :no so i joined Redditch, who had 0 players and but a decent budget, promoted a load of lads from the youth team and am frantically trying to pick up players with a tiny wage budget

GK: Jan Budzt - 33 - (Free) Decent 2nd choice who i hope to replace sooner
DL: Alfie Russel - 19 - Promoted from youth team, not really good enough but times must, normaly DC
DR: Joe kelly - 19 - (3k) Signed from Hampton and Richmond to fill a gap
DC: Jermaine Rose - 17 - Promoted from Youth Team, looks promising
DC: Alton Thelwell - 32 - (1K) good but old
MC: David Livermore - 32 - (Free), captain, best player but age is against him
MC: Jean-Sylvain Dossou - 25 - (1k) decent DMC, should do okay
AML: Adam Kelly - 24 - (Free) released from salisbury when i left, so i snapped him up
AMC: Chris Taylor - 18 - Promoted from youth, good looking striker, hopeful
AMR: Ollie Ellison - 17 - Promoted from youth, fast, decent passer, hopefull
STK: Curtis Middleton - 18 - Promoted from youth, 17 heading, 10 shooting, playing as TM, hopefull

The rest are a bunch of kids, aim is to avoid relegation and consolidate as much as possible

Lost 7-0 in my first game (they had 9 shots...) so changed the team around completely, a host of 15-year olds got debuts with one getting a hat-trick. Love building new teams to be honest, this save should be fun.

In 2016/17 and after a successful 4 years at Anfield where I brought three PL wins, A CL win and a numerous fa cups/carling cups went to Real Madrid. Got a £450m transfer budget to get Madrid back into the CL (how they finished sixth last season I dont know). Blew it all bringing in several stars (including Suarez for £22m  ;D ). The mission now is to win the league after coming second after my first season in spain, which saw Messi score 50 league goals and 67 goals in all competitions - what a disgusting beast.

Just got this the other day and will be striagt on it after the match today. Not played it for years, I usually go straight for a team who have a boss transfer budget but will probs go for a lower league team tonight.

I'm thinking Tranmere.

Wow... I've just won the League Cup against Spurs, but it was a little bit too nervy for me. The team dominated the game, but just like in RL we couldn't score a goal. I already saw myself throwing a hissy-fit after conceding a stupid goal in the 90th minute to lose 1-0. Didn't happen. We made it to extra-time. I told them to keep playing like that and the goal would come. Suarez didn't like it, so I told him expect more from him in extra-time. That pissed him off even more. Game started again, Suarez gets the ball 1-0. ;) Kuyt then scored the 2nd and I switched my tactics to play a lot more defensive. Suarez then made it 3-0... :)

What pissed me off was that Lucas wasn't available as he was already travelling to some stupid International. Fuck that... :(

after 9 league games my team of youngsters, free's and bargins are 7th with 5 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses, scored 18 goals but have conceeded 16

was near bottom after 4 games with 1 draw and 3 losses but changed the formation around and have since won 5 on the bounce... on of my 2 young strikers has 4 in 6, the other has 12 in 11 (2 cup games & league) so i'm happy, my squad is small though and i worry bout injurys, losing my widemen would be a disaster

Fulham had turned into a disaster. Just got a message saying were 206 million in debt and on the edge of administration. To be fair they have given me far too much to spend. 20 in first January and 50 in the summer. First season I lost the league cup final, won the europa league after an easy run and finished fifth in the league after collapsing in the last 4 games. This year I'm in the league cup final and fifth, really struggling to get into the top 4 for financial reasons more than anything. Think I've bought well with my money considering the players I could attract to the club.

Snook into third, went into receivership because the wages hadnt been paid, and been docked 9 points.. its a big ask for top 4 now. Just gonna try for everything possible. League cup final soon. Still in the fa and europa.

Started my Plymouth save with winning 5 out of 7 friendlies. Drew in the first league game away to Port Vale 1-1, my biggest signing of the summer, Stern John missed a sitter in the first half. Won against arch rivals Bristol City in the 1st round of the league 1-0 at home, spent the last 30 minutes with ten men.

Club is in deep shit financially and most of the squad is formed from 17-18 year oldies who just had their first league game in their careers, signed some free transfers, hopefully I can stay afloat but I think I have the qualities to challenge for a playoff spot. Just been notified that the club might be sold soon.

Won the league cup with Fulham. Beat Chelsea 2-1 after extra time. Could well the last thing we celebrate unless someone buys us out.

Said to them at half time."Do it for the fans, theyre the ones who pay your wages" and they all got really angry. It was only half way through the second half that I remembered nobody had been paid in 2 months. Mustve hit a sore spot.

Jack Robinson develops into one of the finest left backs in the game.

I had Crewe win straight promotions to the Premier League, won the FA cup, two league cups and the EUROPA league, then I got bored. All I wanted was the fuckers to build a new stadium and name it after me, but all I got was a statue outside.

Max Clayton who according to Wiki we were interested in knocked something like a silly 89 league goals in my second season.

Omar, do loans. Get a parent club and harass them for loans. A lot. In fact, harass everyone for loans. Also, when you search for players, sort it by international caps and see if you can get any decent former internationals, then pair them with your youngsters for mentoring.
