Bought Cavani. Bargain for 36m as he has scored 15 goals in 10 games.

Sold Skrtel for City for 18m and bought Lovren for 12m... Hope it turns out well. City is my direct rival for 1st right now.

Nvm. Skrtel rejected City based on salary... How the hell am I supposed to resign him now if even City can't afford his wages

Rage quit this game. Started with Vauxhall Motors in the Blue Square North, tipped to finish dead last and somehow won the playoffs and got promoted. So what do the board do? They decide to build a new stadium and put me into administration.

to be honest with Vauxhall Motors a new stadium's not a terrible idea, I remember being in the Championship at one point with them with last year's game and still being at a 3,700 stadium.  Absolutely killed me for ages til I got something bigger.

How are you using him? He's got 11 for me this season in about 25 games. I expected more of him for the £36m I paid...

Fancying a game like that but dont have a clue on lower league players. What signings did you make to get promoted?

All my goals come from midfield. Got Suarez and Benzema playing the lone striker role between them and they have about 10 goals between them by Jan.

4th season, and all the good strikers cost too much now (Benzema was 6m and I sold Rossi for 25m, thought I'd turned a good profit but Benzama is shit)

Wolves just offered me 10m for Jack Robinson too, I declined even though he's not gonna displace Enrique any time soon, selling Cissoko instead.

Tried signing Leandro Damaio and had a bid worth up to £17.5m accepted (something like £9.5m up front and the rest over 24 months) then it got cancelled because I didn't have enough money! I definitely had enough for the up front payment, do you need the rest in the bank?

You need the initial £9.5 and then half of the remaining £8m. So in total you need £13.5m transfer budget for the transfer to go through mate.

Quote
What is the transfer budget like in the summer? Hopefully decent...

I won the league first season and got about £40m+ to spend, so pretty good.

We won the league last year, but this year we're stuttering along instead of cruising. The bank balance was looking really healthy, 100mish. So I just decided to sign Ramsey, Cavani and Huddlestone.

Lets hope we win it now!

edit - as I typed this we won 3-1 away at Fulham to go top :D Cavani with a goal on his debut!

Ugh. Disappointing end to second year. Last out to City for title by 3 points. More or less decided at Eithad Stadium where I lost out 3-2.  Got knocked out in the 3rd round of FA Cup to Sheffield Wednesday... at Anfield. Knocked out Round of 16 in CL by Porto 2-2 on aggregate.

I signed Kagawa on free though. My AM players (I play a 4-2-3-1) are now: Gerrard, Suarez, Di Maria, Kagawa, Gaston Ramirez and Downing.
- Got Di Maria off transfer list (16.5m) first summer
- Bought Ramirez for 8.5m first summer
I want to buy a poacher this summer though. Might have to splurge on someone big (Cavani?) cause I need a great finisher if I want to overtake City.

I can also move Gerrard to MC and Suarez to ST, so this is quite beast. Most likely going to sell Downing after I acquire more HG players. His wages are just too much for a squad player.
