Having a really enjoyable save.
Started with England in 2011. Won Euro 2012, runner-up in the Olympics and 2013 Confed Cup. Knocked out in the last 16 of the WC 2014, and the QF of Euro 2016 and quit. After 2012, a reporter asked me whether winning "was the pinnacle of my role, and whether I saw any point in staying on." I dismissed them, but with hindsight they were probably right...
Got offered the job (somewhat surprisingly I thought) by Real Madrid. Built a wonderful attacking team and ended Barce's dominance, picking up back to back La Liga/Copa Del Rey doubles. Ronaldo was phenomenal, and I'm still not sure how I didn't win a CL.
Didn't think I could improve the team, so quit for Bayern Munich, who had finished 8th. Rebuilt their team and won the German league. Found it a bit boring though, so left. Spent a year out of the job, then was offered England in 2020. Took them to the World Cup and made the final, before guttingly losing 2-0 to a ridiculously strong Brazil team.
Quit again as most of the team were about 30 and the quality coming through wasn't so hot. Got offered Juve which I was very happy with, after being turned down for the Liverpool job for Ancelotti. Juventus had only won 1 title in 7 years but I rebuilt their team and bagged Serie A by a long way. No real budget to improve any further, fuck all attendances. Packed it in.
Now unemployed in 2023. Really want Barce, Madrid or Valencia in Spain, or Liverpool. Just read that Ancelotti is retiring at the end of the season, so may enjoy a year long holiday until then...
Still happy with my first 12 years - One European Championship, Olympic and World Cup runners-up. 2 La Ligas, 2 Spanish Cups, 1 Serie A and 1 Bundesliga.
