Sign Kadlec if you can. He is amazing with a creative front three behind him.

Signed him, mainly as I had all that money to spend and no players which I really needed to replace or buy.

Got a front four of Hazard, Ronaldo, Cavani and Siggurdsson.

Orgasmic.
I would sign him no matter what his age. When his physicals decline he is still a Trequartista who is miles ahead of any other player in the game. He is an absolute beast in the game who is excellent until he turns maybe 35.

Fucksake. Knocked out of the FA Vase and drew to 19th placed Dunkirk in the league. Loughborough Uni are 10 ahead having played a game more.

And my 26-goal striker is out for a month.

Really struggling to get into a game at the moment. Tried a Conference South game with Dover but they couldn't win a game despite some decent signings. Tried Villa in the Premiership, not a bad first XI to start with but no funds to improve it or any prospect of getting any.

Might try a Spurs game.

I've got Tranmere into the Premier League 4 seasons in, just beaten Man City 3-2 at home.

Finally won the league with Barnsley in 2023. What a relief!! Didn't spend a penny that season either.

Messi has seven months on his contract left and for some reason keeps rejecting Barca's offer. Might see if I can get him on a free, I doubt it though especially after blowing my wage budget on getting Ronaldo.

He's 28 on mine.

Ive just started my 4th season as Tranmere, won the League 1 title first year and have lost the Championship playoff final (last year in ET) in both my seasons in it. Hopefully like you I can get them up this year.

Lost in the Europa League Semis with Vauxhall but managed to get promoted to the prem first try! Four straight promotions and I'm now in the premier league! Had to expand stadium, so currently groundsharing with Everton (............) for this season. First game at "home" vs Aston Villa, thumped them 4-0. Then stunned Arsenal 3-1 at the Emirates :D next two matches are Chelsea at home and Man United away at Old Trafford, if I can get results in those games I could have a good chance of challenging for 6th-7th with a good run of fixtures ahead.

Surely with a front four of Cavani, Sigurdsson, Hazard and Ronaldo you're thrashing everyone left right and center? I mean I've never had any of those apart from Hazard who was amazing, but I don't like playing an AM unless they're a prolific goalscorer like Pastore was in 11. Is Sigurdsson good? His stats looked immense in my Malaga file.

Another player who I've found amazing is Erick Torres. Paid £5.25 million for him and he's got 12 in 15 starts and 5 assists. Still in season 1. (liverpool save). Playing him as trequartista or poacher.

Starting a new save with Liverpool. Going to give Kenny a year to work his magic and then take over in June 2012 when he decided to step down  ;) Will post an update later  :)

Well...fuck. Kenny has done a great job in his last season as Liverpool manager. He managed to get them to 2nd place in the table (great achievement considering he bought nobody)
- Quarter finals of the league cup (got knocked out to Sunderland)(Cardiff eventually won the cup)
- Quarter finals of the FA cup (got knocked out to Wigan)(Fulham eventually won the cup)
- Closest English team to winning the Champions league was Man utd who got knocked out in the Quarters (Madrid won the Cup)
- Closest English team to winning the Euro Cup was Fulham who got knocked out in the quarters (Bayern won the cup)

So i've taken over on 1st of June 2012 with the Euros looming. Going to spent a considerable amount of time changing the backroom staff and doing my own Training schedules rather then download some which i've previously done.

2019 I think. Took me ages to get them out of the blue square premier

What league are they in? I might load a new game with them.
Start in the blue square north and are tipped for relegation.

Just started a game a few days back.. had the game since before christmas but only gave it a proper go now.

Sure it's been mentioned plenty of times on here but just came past the Soccer AM team when searching for a new coach  ;D

Can't sign any of the players like they all say theyre not interested, except a striker that i just signed up as a coach, for novelty purposes.

Ahh right, i did a coach search, increased a few of the attributes and his was one of the few names there, figured his coaching stats must have been good. Hopefully he's a better coach than scout, ahh well got a shit load of coaches anyway one crap one shouldn't make a difference.

Created a manager but started unemployed and went on holiday for a year until May 2012 :) It hasn't all gone smooth before though, He was sacked in November once and was replaced with Rafa  ;D

Does anybody listen to the scout reports?

The reason I ask is, someone like kadlec for example....people always go on about him, not just on RAWK but many sites discussing FM. Yet when I scouted him for my bayern team, he only had 2 stars and 2 and a half potential. There's no issues with my scouts in terms of there attributed and judging potential and current ability.

Is not just kadlec though, its a lot of other players too. I need at least 3 and a halfs CA/PA yet a lot don't seem to match that despite people always raving about them.

Only time i start listening to scout reports is when i'm looking at regens.

What year are you in and what other players have you got in his position? Because i think the star rating is based on comparison to the players you have at your club in that particular position. So for example If you have Cavani and Damiao already at the club then compared to them, Kadlec will be found lacking and only be rated 2 and half stars.

Just finished my first season. Fucking gang of bottlers, was doing brilliantly level top with City.. 5 games from the end and lost to arsenal, utd, and chelsea, finished 3rd.. Man utd won the league and i lost the Fa final to City.. ahh well did enough to keep my job and in Champs league for my second season. Downing, Carroll and Henderson are all shite for me, going right out the door ASAP. Sterlings not as good as ive heard but i think i might have pulled him from the reserves too early, season long loan on the cards i think.

Didnt do too bad since i only made one transfer at the start, although i bought in Doumbia, pairing him with Suarez is almost like cheating.

Managed to flog all of them apart from Aquilani

Cole - 1.5 million
Doni - 2.5 million
Aquilani's gone back out on loan

Not a good deal there but i just wanted rid because they were eating up my wage bill!

Update

Started again with Liverpool and this is how i did in all competitions:

- Won the league
- Won the FA cup
- Knocked out 4th round of the League Cup

Chuffed to bits that i got the double but i had to be up there with the amount of money i spent first season. My signings were for the first season:

-Hazard
-Afellay
-Damiao
-Srna
-Ter Stegen

Managed to raise the funds by selling: Maxi, Aurielio, Reina and Agger

Second season

Just in the summer 2012 and so far i've bought:

-Muniain
-Mascherano
-Chesney (Arsenal GK)

And i've sold: Adam, Johnson, Bellamy, Downing, Skrtel, Brad Jones, Doni, Lucas, Cole, Afellay, Pacheco, Aquilani (Loan), Carroll (Loan)

So quite the turnover, Don't think i'll be buying anyone else this summer at least!

just started my second season, fuck me that Bueno that's joining in the summer has been a monster in pre-season.. first 5 games ive tried him as a poacher he scored 2,2,3,1,2 goals. Only friendly matches and i doubt he'll dislodge Suarez or Doumbia but good back up.

My squad is fucking massive though and the seasons about to start, but nobodys coming in with offers and im scared of transfer listing em from past experience, that tends to turn the whole bastard team against me saying ive treated people unfairly. But that was going back a couple of years. Anyone got any tips on getting the fuckers transfer listed and out the club without pissing their mates off?

Maxi, Kuyt, Shelvey, Downing, Henderson, Carroll, Spearing, Bellamy, Carragher want em gone before they start bitching about game time.. If i just loan em out to my affiliates, like fill up accrington stanley with a Liverpool B squad, will that get em off my case for the season?

Oh and somehow, with a 29 mil budget i've gotten Griezman and Hulk for each wing, and a 5 mil left back.. have no idea how i managed it, but stuck in a shit load of clauses, i was really expecting the hulk one to come back saying "not enough funds" or whatever but made up it didn't!

I managed to get Downing to Newcastle for £5mil but that was after a good season and a lot of games played.

Joe Cole - well I couldn't even give him away for free, or loan him. He sat in my reserves for a bit until I noticed he was taking playing time away from my kids, so I moved him to the u18s squad where he was obviously not eligible to do anything at all. I still had him on the wage bill but at least he was as 'out of the way' as he could be whilst still being here. He announced his retirement a few months before his contract was due to expire, but he went and broke his foot in training a few weeks later. So he really was sat on his arse doing nothing and collecting his wages at the end.

A lot of the players in the Liverpool squad are unfortunately very difficult to move on for a profit, or even for a decent amount. You just have to take a hit and sell them for pennies.

Did as Barnsley Scouser suggested and gave Kenny a last year at Liverpool before taking over. He guided them to the League Cup and third place, and I got a transfer budget that I seem unable to exhaust.

Sold Jones, Aurelio, Skrtel, Spearing, Adam, Cole (loan, eurgh), Dempsey (bought by Kenny, I'd rather have the cash), Maxi, Bellamy and moved a lot of young players on. Can't get rid of AA but will keep trying.

Promoted Wilson and Robinson, and signed Aymen Abdennour who was a much coveted CB/LB from Toulouse. Also signed Cavani and Hazard, as well as Javi Martinez and Gaston Ramirez. Nearly picked up Eriksen too but I think he'd ruin Shelvey who's looking good.

Bagged Yaya Sanogo on a free and packed him off on loan to Blackpool, and signed Seedorf for a year for the hell of it.

7 players in, and I still have 7.5 mil to spend. Not sure what to do with it. Considering flogging Henderson and Downing and trying to bring in Jovetic but with Suarez, Hazard, Gerrard and Ramirez all competing for three spots behind Cavani, I don't really need him (for now...)

How much do you have to pay for Masch?

Started my first Vauxhall season in the prem. Signed a few Argentinian guns and one is an absolute world beater, amazing stats at 19 years. Reading manager Phil Parkinson said in a media conference that "Vauxhall are going down, no doubt about it." Won 4-0 vs Villa to start and then 1-3 at the Emirates to sit second before losing 3-0 at home to Chelsea and drawing 1-1 at old trafford. Tonked Reading 5-0 at their ground before a few draws and a win had me at 4W 3D 1L and 6th in the table. Since then I have won 7 straight and sit 6 points clear on top, including beating City 2-0 after going down to ten men and taking down Everton 1-4 after trailing. Loving this game!

22 million but thats because he was transfer listed. I couldn't pass up the chance to resign him so i had to sell Lucas to fund the deal.

I would have done the same. Had a quick look and no such luck in mine.

Can't seem to flog Carroll, Henderson or Downing to raise the funds for one more big signing.

Happy with my squad:

Reina, Doni
Johnson, Kelly, Agger, Abdennour, Coates, Wilson, Carra (player/coach in his last season), Enrique, Robinson
Lucas, Javi Martinez, Henderson, Seedorf, Shelvey, Gerrard
Suarez, Ramirez, Kuyt, Hazard, Downing
Cavani, Carroll, Sanogo (on loan)

Will probably move Kelly on at the end of the season. Seedorf and Carra's contracts will expire. Will try to replace Henderson and Downing, might give Kuyt one last season. Will have to see how well Sanogo progresses on loan at Blackpool before deciding whether he can take Carroll's place.

Looks like a good team you're building there! Any clues as to who to bring in to tutor my younger players? Their technical stats look good but they're lacking mentally.

*Update* November 2nd season, unbeaten so far! Still in all competitions, managed to qualify for the 1st knockout stage of the champions league. 17 games unbeaten and then i go to West Ham away and get trounced 6-1. Absolutely in bits.

If showing respect to the 96 and other victims of Hillsborough on the 15th is seen as unacceptable by other teams fans then I am glad I support Liverpool and understand some things are more important than football

First season won the league and won the carling cup. Knocked out of the 4th round of the FA cup by stoke  :butt

Tried some of your techniques to get rid of downing for about £3-4 million but nobody wanted him and I ended up selling him for 200k and paying him 5k per week until his contract ends.
Aqua and Cole- Nobody wants them even on a free or loan with me paying most of their wages. Guess I'll keep annoying them and asking them to have their contract terminated. Got rid of Doni for 400k.

Squad at the moment.
Gk- Reina and a regan who I bought for £2 million. Looks like he'll be world class. Got the potential to be better than reina
RB- Glen, kelly, flanno and romario who's on loan
CB- Agger, Vertonghen, coates, wilson (carra back up)
LB-  Enrique and robinson (wilson if needed)
CM- Bertolacci, J.Martinez, Gerrard and Jonjo
RW- Willian (amazing would recommend him. bought him for 8 million and he got 16 goals and 17 assists in 44 games from the right), Hendo, Raheem
CAM- Sigurosson, Eriksen, E.Torres
LW- J.Rodriguez, Raheem (need another winger)
ST- Luis, big andy, bueno (who's looked v.good in pre season so far) and a 17 year old regan who looks class.

Need another striker. Thinking about Damaio, Doumbia or Jovetic.

Seems like i was lucky with Aqua, when his loan ran out, Milan took up the option to buy for 6mil.. he rejected em, then i offered him out to all clubs for £5.5mil Milan came straight back in and he agreed terms with em. I just stuck a shit load of dross in the ressies and sent my reserves who i want developed (Wilson, Sterling, Robinson, Flanagan, Spearing, Shelvey, Pacheco) to my affiliates Genk or Accrington.. Genk only seem to be in Europa but the lads i sent to em seem to be getting game time.

Just hit a shit run of luck there though.. Suarez out for 4 months from a fucking international friendly.. then the game after i got this news was against chelsea.. i had to make all 3 subs under 50 minutes because the dirty twats injured 3 of my players, Hulk, Bueno(back-up for Suarez) and Kuyt. Out of the three of those injuries the earliest return is a bloody month aswell! And insult to injury the pricks beat me 2-1 at home and they only had 10 men.
Now im left with a first team with Carrol and Downing as main starters and little to no back-up attacking wise.  :wanker

On a plus point though, my CL campaigns off to a flyer, im top of the group and Barca are surprisingly bottom, drawing to me and montpellier and losing to Copenhagen.
==========================================

Okay my games just went mental on me.. im currently in the process of playing Newcastle.. it was 0-0.. Gerrard just crossed to Doumbia who scored.. 1-0 Liverpool right? apparantly not, the scoreboard now says 1-0 Newcastle and a Reina O.G.. wtf??  :o

"That's it" I thought. Good cup runs but lacking in the league, 10 points behind Loughborough Uni having played a game more. Loljk.

Super Darren Mansaram comes back from his month-long injury and promtly scores 6 in 5, taking his season's tally to 30 in 28 and I'm now 6 behind having played the same amount, Loughborough away in 2 games time.

Need the promotion spot otherwise the season's a failure depsite getting to the first round proper of the FA Cup.
