Laughed out loud at the "wanker sign" being an internationally known signal.
"...British people are highly indebted and obliged to Sikhs for a long time. I know that within this century we needed their help twice and they did help us very well. As a result of their timely help, we are today able to live with honour, dignity, and independence. In the war, they fought and died for us, wearing the turbans" Winston Churchill

Right. CityTalk panel show here:

http://www.theanfieldwrap.com/2012/06/taw-on-citytalk-ep-15/

And it was good. Gibo, Kev Sampson and Catherine Stewart with Rory on the phone.

CityTalk phone in here:

http://www.theanfieldwrap.com/2012/06/taw-citytalk-phone-in-4/

I say phone in. It was essentially a two hander between me and Mike Nevin.

Both Monday's TAW and yesterday's Citytalk episode are both powering down my ipod when I try to play them.  Same thing happened around 6 weeks ago. No other podcast is affected and there's plenty of juice in my pod.

Is there something weird happening with the tags or am I the only one affected here?

Same with me. It also happened with the "Kenny" episode, as you say, about 6 weeks ago.

I know man, that made me angry. I was waiting for a "he's too defensive". It's fucking annoying that Rafa doesn't get the respect he deserves.
Where once we watched the King Kenny play, and could he play.

Big Guttman fan here. Thought Neil's 30 seconds on Pirlo's pen was spot on. He could have gone further... it was a sublime moment. You're never going to come back from that.

The thought of Pirlo saying "fuck you, you fuckin' wool" to Joe Hart had me chuckling for a very long time.

Another brilliant podcast as ever, although (and this isn't a criticism as I know time is limited), it would have been nice to have a few minutes remembrance on Miki Roque.

My guess is that they didn't know. Why are you trying to undermine one of the best things that has happened to the fan base arguably ever?

The TAW boys talked about the England problem being Roy's lineup/tactics/etc. as well as the lack of technical quality from the English players.  What I didn't hear mentioned was the limited preparation time between Roy and the squad and the injuries.  I am not saying the results would have been any different but I would like to hear your opinions on how much affect this had.

Even with a year, and with Wiltshire available, they'd have still played anti-football. Did you not watch Liverpool under Hodgson?

Very good podcast again fellas, thanks.

I love the idea of Pirlo calling Joe Hart a wool.

Isn't it a bit weird when a few lads sat in a recording studio in Liverpool can offer up more tactical sense than the entire F.A. and England management team.

I did watch Liverpool with Hodgson.  But I also watched him at Fulham and then at WB.  I don't like his style of play anymore than I like the old Italian style of play.  I am not going to write him completely off though.  I think the injuries and lack of time together really hurt this team.

I heard most English fans say England would be lucky to win a game in the Euros.  Then after it was all said and done, most say England was sh&$^.  They exceeded my expectations by winning their (poor group) and going to penalties against Italy.

Been enjoying the recent episodes. Nice to hear familiar voices taking about different topics away from Liverpool. I'd like 10 minutes, maybe less, each week on other football here or Europe just to add something different to the show. I know it's a Liverpool centric podcast but you're all very good to listen to.

Just a thought to the battery drain issue.  Most true apple type downloads are of less quality (low kbps) and this is in lossless IIRC perhaps the speakers having to perform above their usual fare could cause it.  Also, that is why it is so big.  The city talk one is smaller.

Enjoying the articles on the site too.
