At the same time as it saddens me to see Joe Cole reduced to being pushed off the bench by a 16 year old, I am massively excited to see Raheem develop, the comparisons to him and the great John Barnes are very strong. I think they were even born in the same place!

I am slightly hopeful that we will be able to see both Lucas and Luis play against Sunderland on opening day. I also am hoping that we will see a slightly more uniformed side today, but as long as we have no injuries and gain match fitness I will be quite happy.

Its not on LFC TV its on ESPN and a few other channels like Al Jazeera etc.
