The same one's who condone and keep quiet that ticket touts are taking advantage of fellow supporters?

Brilliant. BTW, how come the official supporters club in malaysia is a pte ltd and not an actual club with elections?

Was a bit surprised with this set up. Doesn't seem right either.

i dunno? barking at the wrong tree maybe? bcoz i am not a member of any supporters club anywhere.

Don't you know Liverpool is coming to Singapore on Sunday for a one day training? At Bishan Stadium. I went through hell to get the exclusive tickets (mainly only offered to SCB employees, Adidas, Singtel etc...) and I managed to get it through a friend working in SCB, just to see the King. Gutted!!! I don't suppose he will be flying back here, right?

oh!! lol....its ok, u still get to see the players! :D enjoy it mate.

Every power draws its ultimate consequences at every moment. Supposing that this also is only interpretation-and you will be eager enough to make this objection?-well, so much the better. (Nietzsche; Beyond Good & Evil, p. 30-31).

Not sure if posted but here is a video of the training. Part 2 is also available. Love the 13 a-side on 3/4 pitch.

They probably will. Never say never though I expect them to head to the United States next season, especially if Warrior is confirmed as the new kit sponsors.

Yea. Good point. But would the club be able to do both..that's the question. Next season is Euro 2012 year so....I doubt many clubs will be doing major tours given we will potentially lose Kuyt, Carroll, Gerrard, Johnson, Pepe, and host of other stars who will be on their summer breaks post tournament up till late July.

I must be the only one on here saddened by that reaction to the lad wearing the Manchester United top.

Why does it get taken off him? Maybe he just wanted to watch a game of footy and didn't think it was that big a deal?

Pretty embarrasing IMO.

Did he?  Hopefully to Hong Kong again - reckon a good percentage of those at the Guangzhou stadium were from our town.

ah yea I forget that euro 2012 was on next year, no chance we will be doing the US and Asia, intact the tour next year will probably only be small like you said considering most of our team are international quality. Do the under 21's have a tournament as well?

yeah, it's badly arl arse.

I know it's great we've got fans all over the world and that. But the Liverpool/Manc rivalry just doesn't mean the same thing out there, so it's just fucking stupid for them to pick on that guy. I felt uncomfortable watching it.

Be like if the Red Sox played a game in the UK in front of English fans, and some guy in a Yankees shirt went to watch it because he loved the sport.  The club and the rivarly doesn't mean the same thing to those people, so there is no excuse for making a c*nt of the bloke. bit of ribbing fine, but that goes too far.

pretty sure I read the article on rawk the other day and he said the reception from the Malaysian fans was incredible and it shows how massive we are, then said we will be going to Asia again next year but nothing has been decided on where we are going yet.

Don't wear Man Utd Jersey.

As a Malaysian, imo everyone were in good spirits and were being playful. They dont mean any harm. Well, obviously that guy was reluctant and embarassed to be the center of attention. Too bad  ;D.

Andy, Robin and Richie, are you guys absolutely nuts? Are you trying to sound like nice, sympathetic, sensitive, caring people. If so ,you are in the wrong place. There are thousands of dating sites where you can do that. You are blowing the icident way out of proportion. It was a group of Lfc fans have a laugh with the United fan. There was no violence no anger and not even a struggle. He knew he was in the wrong place. Its happend me before and Ive seen it happen to other people a few times. Its banter and thats all.

Just doesn't mean the same thing out there. That was just sad mob mentality.

Somebody turns up on the Kop wearing a manc shirt, then I have no sympathy.  But just because you buy a Liverpool shirt and start calling yourself a Liverpool fan doesn't give you the right to start acting like a twat to somebody whose bought a Manc shirt and started calling themselves a United fan.  For me that had nothing to do with Liverpoo/United, and everything to do with bullying mob mentality.

Why does it matter where you're from when it comes to supporting a football club like? They can have the same rivalry.

just because they are not scousers like us does not mean they do not have a rivalry with fans of other clubs.

I'm sure they have mates who.support other clubs and have banter just like the average football fan.of course they won't have the same hatred we have for united fans but I have seen Liverpool fans from many countries and a lot of them have a lot of passion for Liverpool. And with passion you obviously get rivalry.

So I think that was just the case on that video. Which was to be expected.

Carry on barking from where you are. You aren't here and don't have to witness what we have been seeing.

Yes go on and continue talking in this arrogant tone as if you're a better fan than everyone else is. I'm asian, and i know how much we people supports the club even if we're so far away from Anfield and it doesn't take a poser like you to tell everyone how as much as 80% of us doesn't have any clue when it comes to supporting the club.

I think it's great that there are so many people out there that clearly love the club. But can the Liverpool Manc rivarly really be the same for a fan out there, as somebody who has lived in Liverpool and been part of the cut and thrust of it that has gone on for generations between the club and the citys which at points has become extremely dark and bitter?

If I met an guy from Argentina who told me he was big Man United fan, and tried to take the piss out of Liverpool, I wouldn't really give a shit, and would let it slide. If It was United fan from
Manchester doing it, it's going to wind me up and make me retaliate.
