I'm watching Generation Kill at the moment. It's a seven-part mini-series produced by HBO about US Marines in the 2003 Iraq Invasion. Deservedly got one of the highest ratings for a mini-series on IMDB.

Coming to the end of the first season of Fringe im liking it its a good series , Six Feet Under is next for me then i'll give Justified a try .

recently finished watching Breaking Bad season 3...I'd delayed it so It would coincide with the start of season 4

honestly think its the best TV drama i've ever seen...including Soprano's, Wire etc

perfectly scripted, beautifully acted and brilliantly directed

Cant wait for the next chapter to unfold

As far as procedural crime shows go, I thought it was very good and was very disappointed when it got cancelled

Sorry but anyone should stay away from that TV show.Begun with real premise but ended up unbelievably shit and also got amazingly predictable.

I've just finished the first series i'm hooked, downloading the series 2 right now.

Underbelly was excellent but lost its way by season 3 I feel.

Of everyones recomendations, Justified and Sons of anarchy have become keepers and we are now working our way through them, Battlestar gallactica really was not my thing at all and Breaking bad...hmm, not sure, tried 3/4 episodes and wasnt hooked, may go back once up to speed with justified and Sons of anarchy.

Cheers for the recomendations, still think we are missing a real stand out like, 24, wire, sopranos, lost, entourage.

Ooh, that reminds me Rescue me season 7 started last week, time to download

Got into Swedish Wallander after a few folks on here recommended it and it doesn't disappoint. Only watched 3 eps so far but each episode is feature length. Quality stuff

While it's a little premature to be making claims about a programme that's still being made vs. an accepted all-time great, it's certainly strong enough to be giving it a run for its money.

Season 3 has been easily the best thing on British TV all year.

Definitely, it's not quite as serious/dark as breaking bad but it's a good watch, just finished season 3 myself, give homeland a go too. Only 3 episodes in & it's been awesome so far.
