Was it? I think you're confusing a conspiracy by people at the News of the World to carry out illegal phone tapping, which was uncovered because of evidence supplied by whistle blowers or uncovered by diligent investigative journalism and a few MPs... with an assumption that the Government is bad m'kay and therefore in the habit of bumping off people even though in the case of both Kelly and Sean Hoare, their deaths had minimal if any effect on the development of the story.
OK, first of all I'm not talking about Sean Hoare at all, admittedly I used the rather cryptic device of using the phrase, 'the subject of this thread' (five of the words in a ten word post) to indicate this. All I'm saying is that when people have seen the mayor of London refer to the whole thing as a 'load of codswallop cooked up by labour', and then this has largely been left alone by the mainstream media since, they would have placed it in the 'left wing loony conspiracy theory' box. Nothing too explosive there - what most people other than Alan would have considered to be a conspiracy theory, is turning out, in spectacular fashion, to be true.
And I was once a baby. Your point is?
Bit of an intellectual leap here I'm afraid, but here we go. Maybe a conspiracy theory can turn out to be true.
Sorry for late response, I've only just got up.
Sean Hoare's death obviously could have been caused by many things, he didn't exactly look the picture of health and he must have been under serious stress at the time, but if it was dodgy that will be seismic.
