Topic: Warning to all posters on the Transfer Forum

If you are going to waste our time attempting to moderate loads of threads with a massive amount of utter tripe being posted every minute, may i make a suggestion that if you wish to continue to have the ability to post here then you stop.

Otherwise you may

1) Receive a warning
2) Get muted
3) Get a ban
4) No longer be allowed on the website

Not hard to fathom but the transfer mods and the normal mods have actually got better things to do than babysit a bunch of adolescent schoolkids.

Oh and BTW, the mods and transfer mods can if they like 'take the piss' and post things like 'Aguero signs' and similar, as we deserve it with the amount of work we have to put in to keep this place going.

Seems to have more to do with the moderators over-inflated sense of self-importance, it really is Koptalkesque on here now.

No wonder large numbers of football supporters mock RAWK for what it's become over the last 18 months or so.

It's a football discussion forum for Liverpool supporters that doesn't allow a matchday thread for it's own club but does for every other club and imposes ridiculous rules such as the three line rule in the transfers thread. You only need to look at the number of locked threads or bans for daring to post off-message. It's a bit juvenile and up itself?

Honestly I know it can be a bit of a pain in the backside being a moderator but if it's too much bother don't do it. Surely the role of moderator here is to keep the flow going, house keep threads and prevent potentially legally questionable posts.

It seems this site and moderators have become so self-important, RAWK now exists for it's own self-justification rather than remembering why it exists in the first place?

Personally, when I come to RAWK I want to read stuff about Liverpool FC not deal with page after page of drivel and made up shit. It is almost impossible to get through to the real knowledge and information because of the crap on here. So for me I totally agree with the bans and locks and just with we could get back to more sensible footy conversation.

I'm happy to re open it bearing in mind two things:
1. As with all threads, if there's nothing really useful to add to it and no humourous riposte then please don't bother weighing down humanity with your pish.
2. Posters who continually go off topic, post meaningless bollocks and pick petty arguments will be muted from the whole site til the window shuts.
3. There's not only two things, there's 4.
4. Finally, RAWK supports the new owners, warily and with due examination. They have the right to be supported by us and we have the right to question them and let them prove themselves to us. However, unsubstantiated persistent petty picking and pisstaking does not become a real Liverpool supporter. There is a massive difference. And for most of us, unless its a specific thread about the owners, or utterly relevant to the thread in question, posting about the owners and pisstaking without good reason will get you muted til close of window too.

We tolerate the transfer forum, and the transfer mods, be they power hungry dictators or lazy assed whittlers, do us all a favour by keeping this board going, so please a little respect for them and equally you'll be respected back.
