I still don't see Real fucking up (enough) unfortunately, fuck knows the last time they lost the madrid derby and while i think barca will beat them in the classico, i expect Real to win all their other games - hopefully im way off the mark! Bilbao playing at home is a hope but a good finishing team is gonna bag a fair amount of goals against them, you'd fancy, and Real are usually shit hot at that.
Losing your only chance of silverware this season to your city rival. At home. With the most expensive squad ever assembled.

Have that, you arrogant wanker. CarraG238

I think Pepe is just a psychopath. If he didn't play football, he would probably be beating up people on the street.

Managed by a sociopath, which is the more cultured version of the same mental illness.

He's a player with great conditions to play as CB, and seems a likeable guy off the pitch, but he loses his mind on it way too often for anyone's liking, which is a shame, because as I said, on paper he's sensational to play in that position. But in truely competitive games he can get very unstable. He's the contrary to past legends like Baresi or Hierro who had high football IQ and knew how to keep calm and cool in unfavourable conditions. Many people blame Mourinho for his behaviour, but I remember that even before he took charge he made dangerous, silly things, like the one in the Getafe game, which was unprovoked, and happened only because the circumstances of the game were bad for his team that needed to overcome a negative result.

While Ramos and Pepe can look as the best pair in Europe 95% of games, I'd rather have someone who won't be a potential troublemaker playing there when important games take place.

Pepe can lose it anytime,  but having Mourinho as a mentor is surely a way of fomenting this kind of behaviour. Even Xabi Alonso, never known for his dirty play before, has developed a nasty side under the guidance of the sociopath of Setubal.

Really? He is seeing a lot of the ball, but I feel he should try to take on players a bit more, he shies away from it far to often and goes for the easy option of knocking it back. As well he seemed a bit out of sync to what was going on at times, to Puyol's annoyance at one stage. I'm not writing him off, but the jury is still out for me.

How did Barca manage to get back into this?
Messi defying logic and becoming better than he already was.
Pique coming back into form.
Other players starting to score, aswell as players coming back from injury.
Madrid drawing a couple of games whilst Barca winning 10 league games in a row.

Atletico seems to be in with a chance to at least get a point. Would love to see Maureen's reaction if they end up losing the title.
Would love the 19th; but would love even more to see a fan owned LFC.

Ronaldo scoring from a free kick? I've seen everything now.

Keeper was rubbish - covering the side of the wall the wall was already covering. Goalies are so dumb at free kicks.

Very good free kick regardless of the poor goalkeeping; was from quite some distance away.

Btw, isn't the Atletico GK on loan from Chelsea? What happened to Asenjo?

Asenjo hasn't lived up to his billing since going there and de Gea usurped him. I think Joel is their next prospect in goal; he's doing well at Rayo at the moment.

Filipe looks very lively on the left for Atleti. Him vs Arbeloa has been a good battle so far
