How will they afford his wages? Or is he so desperate he's playing for the PL equivalent of the minimum wage?
Will be same as his united deal, pay as play, so ten minutes a month, then back on the treatment table. Still we can look forwards to tweets about how he is ready if the gaffer calls on him to play against Norwich or Reading or sit on the bench.

He got stick from us when he played for Newcastle, we despised him when he played for United, and now he wants to go to them lot?
He really is a sucker for punishment, isn't he?

When he played at the footballing academy at Lilleshal, near Telford, I was informed by quite a few people that he was an arrogant little twat that used to spit on people out of windows.

Doesn't seem to have improved on his personality much, if anything he seems to have decided that shitting on people is even better.

What a cock! :D

I saw one of the papers was asking the question if there was ever a route back to LFC for him. Can never see it personally.

Seems he is waiting for a big club to come in for him. Maybe Big Sam will give it a shot.

I can't see any prem teams coming in for him, unless this Everton thing is true? Possibly West Ham. Southampton maybe?

So if he doesn't get a "big club" what then? Does he just hang up his boots at 32? A complete and utter waste of once a good footballer.

This is not going to work out.
The little Please, Please, Please, Please, should rest in his special chair, rocking back and forth, drooling (as he can't dribble too well) and staring at the large Emile figure mopping up. But that dove-brained Nicholson guy has all these big freedom ideas, and the little 4-Pleases idiot one has become enthralled with the possibilities. Nurse Ratchett would give him better career advice,  and shoot him full of the right drugs to end it all painlessly, but the little one has culted himself to Jack. Jack, meanwhile, has tired quickly, and so has passed the small Cutesy-in-a-flea-bite-way-One on to the Blue Tranky. She lives in a shed, a falling down shed, a shed in need of decoration. Please +++ thinks she loves him, thinks he can aid the dour one in her time of change. Truth is, the Brittle-Brutal-Ball-Eyed-Honey-Haired-One only wants the Small Scampy Once-Across-The-Fieldy Stealy-Champy for his medals. To use as ear-rings.

Here he is being made to look a tit by Neville Southall.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/WqOxNspUPyE?version=3&amp;amp;hl=en_GB&amp;amp;rel=0" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/WqOxNspUPyE?version=3&amp;amp;hl=en_GB&amp;amp;rel=0</a>

Wow. He is a right little shit. Celebrating like a c*nt after scoring against a kid.

Southall's comment at the end about sums it up.

I thought he said he didn't want to drop down to the Championship. You have a player like Woodgate, like Owen an ex-Newcastle and Real Madrid player with a career littered with injuries, who has probably realized he couldn't cut at PL level anymore on a regular basis and thus opted to return back to Middlesbrough.

Quote
I didn't think about Middlesbrough at first because I was going to try to stay in the Premier League and it just went from there. The lure of Middlesbrough, hometown team, the idea of trying to get them back in the Premier League, was a big, big pull.Do I want to be close to my family? Or do I want to be in the Premier League? Or try to get Middlesbrough in the Premier League?"

"Family is some times more important than playing in the Premier League, especially now I am 32. I want to get Middlesbrough there. I think it is ambition because I want to try to get in the Premier League. I could have stayed at Stoke or wherever and not played. But what do I want to do that for? I am 32 years-old and if I help get Middlesbrough in the Premier League it will be a massive achievement."
http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/football/middlesbrough/9814966.Woodgate_s_back_and_determined_to_end_on_a_high/

and

Quote
No. I have been lucky. I am a professional footballer who has played for some good teams and I am playing for Middlesbrough again, like any other young lad from Middlesbrough would want to do. I am lucky, that’s how I look at life. I’m a professional footballer.
http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/sport/football/woodgate-insists-he-is-lucky-as-he-plays-again-for-beloved-boro-1-4736194

Contrast this with Owen:

Quote
"At 32, I definitely owe it to myself to have two or three years and play a bit more - but for somebody else.I don't think the Championship would be an option if I am totally honest.I don't feel I have lost the ability to score goals or play at a high level. We will wait to see where that is. If it is not the Premier League then I may look farther afield.

Fucking idolised him when I was young. Started following football the same time he broke through (due to me being young). Every saturday morning at 'mini footy' I'd try and play like him. Got every book going on him, loads of biographies. And now look at him. Still grateful for the wonderful memories but he could have been one of the biggest legends this club has had, he really could have been. What a fool.

Hope he regrets moving from us every single day of his life.

They could've sent the other two pairs to kids in Africa or something, even with a team he'll only need one pair tops. Trotting to and from the bench/physio room can't cause that much wear & tear.

He's a tit who let the hype get to him at such a young age, it's made his ego bigger than it ever should be.

Perfect example of a grown man trying to act like a kid yet coming across as an annoying tit.

Thanks for everything you did while you were at Liverpool, enjoy sitting on the bench doing fuck all yet still somehow earning thousands on name alone. Used to idolise you as a kid, but you're just a washed up c*nt now who shouldn't be given the time of day anymore, the limelight went when you moved to Newcastle Michael.

In fairness he did play a huge amount as a 17/18 year old due to Robbie and Riedles injuries - hes been dogged by his hamstring since it snapped at Elland Road.

Scottish Division 3 club looking for a hero. No aversion to trophy-thieving. Possibly won't play many games next season. Like overpayments. Big ambitions with increasing little chance of realising them. Maybe just send him the brochure?
