i do really feel sorry for him, from playing brilliantly for blackpool scoring 6 goals picking up the young players award

then being called back here having to sit on the bench game after game while watching two of the worst cm's the club have seen

I think a lot of us can empathize with him, given the fact that he hasn't even had the chance to put his money where his mouth is. But tweeting that kind of thing does nothing to counter the rumors of attitude problems.
You know what, I'm writing this here now and I'm going to put it in my signature and leave it there for the next 5 years, no matter how embarrassing it might or might not turn out to be: Jordan Henderson is going to be a fantastic player.

That Shelvey is really pissed off at the minute at his lack of game time.

I think that's very light  for how he really feels.
Tommo - I presume he is going crazy that its Adam who keeps getting picked ahead of him? Wouldn't surprise me if the players are worried that Kenny has his favourites regardless of form.

Wow. Big man, posting that on Twitter.
Exactly. What's he? 19? Wind your neck in lad. He'll get his chance now I think, but i hope for his sake he takes it, because comments like this do not help. Pachecho used to do it, look where he ended up.

Tweeting that may have been a mistake but you can understand where he is coming from. It's not like there is somebody there that deserves to keep him out of getting a game. Or that the team is doing good and we shouldn't mix things around. Must be so frustrating sitting there watching us just play so terrible in the past couple of weeks yet still not getting a chance.

How he hasn't got more of a chance is beyond me.. I know he's young but FFS Adam and Henderson haven't done anything close enough to be so far ahead of him in the pecking order

He just wants game time even if its sub appearances. He is getting nothing though. He's asked to leave on loan but the club have said no at the moment. hence why he is pissed off

My first guess would be that it's a fake, yeah. But enough people seem to disagree, so who knows. I'd have thought the club would have actually banned him from Twitter, to be honest.

£13m spent on Henderson and does he offer any more than Shelvey? I'd say not. He offers more of a goal threat and is calmer on the ball. Doesn't have the "Steady Eddie" aura about him which Henderson seems to exude though.

Why? If Adam's out for the season, isn't this precisely when we'd need Shelvey?

Shelvey is a winner. I like Henderson a lot and I believe Adam I'd a good squad player but Shelvey is the kid that we need in our team at the moment.
MUST start against Wigan, since our season is well and truely over.

Feel sorry6 for him. Was doing his career good getting mins at Blackpool. Was highly rated and we bring him back to warm the bench. Surely Adam going from the middle would have meant him coming into the middle would have been ideal, no?

We paid a lot of money for Henderson, but he's not exaclty set the place on fire

No we don't. He's 20 years old, done absolutely sweet fuck all in his career. Sit down and wait your chance. Work hard in training, have a bit of a moan at home, even ask the manager a question about why you're not playing but do it in private, not in public, not on twitter, not around town, whatever. Simple as that.

But Adam is Mr Dalglish's special special ickle player, he must start every game, right?  :'(

Much rather have Jonjo on the pitch. Got recalled to just sit on the bench. Why couldn't Coady, Aurelio, Flanagan, Suso do that?

i'd be giving him a fucking massive fine for posting shit like that (at a minimum).

I probably would too if I was his manager. But at the same time, I totally understand him. He is not getting any game time what so ever. I can't understand how any of the current midfielders bar Spearing (not playing the same role) and Gerrard (...being Gerrard) is playing ahead of him.

He has proven that he can perform on this level. And Kenny seemed to fancy him last season (even played him at left back in one game). What has happened since then?

What is startling to me is that he's always look promising whenever he has played for us in his cameos. Adam and Henderson have been consistently poor and Shelvey who was having a great spell at Blackpool was called back because of injuries and yet he still can't get any time whatsoever.

He has every right to be annoyed, he just doesnt want to stagnate and not improve his game.

Shouldn't be putting it on twitter but these days twitter seems the most common way for players to let off steam. That doesn't make it okay and he shouldn't have posted that on there but i can definately understand his frustration.

Seen some of the most confusing decisions this season and the use of Shelvey has been one of them. Just struggling to understand why he was brought back from his loan for this. Players are going to get aggravated from sitting on the bench watching others disappoint over and over and over but retaining their place anyway. Again twitter isn't the way to show your frustration but the frustration is understandable in my opinion.

Don't forget give the ball away needlessly in dangerous positions and concede stupid fouls. Get all of that together and he's first name on the teamsheet.

A thick player with some natural talent and a massively inflated opinion of himself.

Bye bye.

Massively inflated opinion of himself or not he has every right to be pissed off with not getting game time. Called back from his loan, see's consistent shit performances week in week out bar the odd week here and there, yet still remains on the bench. Can't really help the team from there and definitely won't progress as a player without getting some game time.

I'd hope he is fuming and I hoped he'd get his chance but if it is him tweeting that then he needs to keep this sort of shit held in until he's in the club.
