They don't want the Europa League place though. They're too big for it now, and if they do play in it then it'll stop them challenging for the title next season.

They definitely don't need to build their European profile because they're already a huge name, and not being in Europe at all next season won't do them any harm at all, definitely.

They've thought it all through.

I know Tommy was saying that they'd prefer not to have Europa League qualification. Wonder if most Spurs fans feel the same. Do they now think it's beneath them? Really find that strange.

Wolves at home was the killer (although I think we should have got rid of Hodgson after the Everton game). To even have a chance of 5th this season is an absolute miracle.

After the loss to Blackburn, we were 12th with 11 points behind Spurs, to even think that we have a better chance of being passing them in the table shows you how much work & effort Kenny and Clark have done.

Shame we didn't sack Hodgson a month earlier, we could've been forth if Kenny took over at the start of December rather than at the start of the new year.

Without goal line technology I wonder if the linesman today gave Chelsea the benefit of the doubt like officials are meant to do to attacking teams if they are in doubt of a decision.

Also, on the subject of goal-line technology, I'm against it - simply because it makes football much more exciting (both frustrating and euphoric - see LFC vs. CFC/England vs. Germany/today etc). Without human error, there is no room for feelings of resentment towards referee/opposition, or, conversely, feelings of triumph or "justice" for your own team.
