Who would have thought we would have signed Suarez? So all the targets that are listed on here are no longer a pipe dream, we have real money to spend and a DOF with a proven track record of bringing in top talent.

Hungary were shit and Dzsudzsak didn't really get the ball all that much. He was alright. Did some nice things but was anonymous for most of the game. Seemed to be pretty two footed. I think Gera has the same sort of effect Gerrard has when he plays for us with everyone always looking for him him when they have the ball. I watched Dzsudzsak very closely and he used the ball very well any time he got it. Scored a goal that was ruled out and assisted Gera's two goals despite having a quite game. Afellay was very good. If we can get both him and Dzsudzsak I'd be more than happy

Assuming we sell Jones and Cole as far as I am aware we'll only need one more player to fill the quota (Adam isn't HG either) which will allow a full 25 man squad. Granted Carra & Gerrard can't have too much longer but long term we have Ayala, Pacheco, Shelvey & Wilson coming through plus all our U18 talent.

Regardless I don't think we need more than a 20 man squad anyway which requires only three HG players.

If the best man for the job is Young, Javis, Dann or Cahill then by all means go for them but to do it for the HG rule makes absolutely no sense.

Young I thought was a little disappointing last night. Would still like to see him with us but his performances would have to be far more consistent. Was on the Villa forums a couple of weeks ago and alot of their fans are quite pissed off with him with regard to his commitment at the moment. Some are really fucked off he aint putting in the shifts or playing (in their eyes) all that well, especially being made captain.Although Im sure a new challenge and actually competing for stuff will bring the hunger back to his game.

I think Young would do well with us I think he has gone stale at Villa and I think his performances have suffered especially as he seems to have decided he wants to leave

I think the only player out of that list I'd take would be Young. And even then there are many others I'd take ahead of him. Baines as well maybe.

Young, Sissoko, Shawcross, Dzsudzsak, Baines.

The name Liverpool itself won't be enough to attract alot of players, especially if we are competing against teams offering CL football. Can't see Sanchez or Hazard joining, Adam would be a good replacement for Poulsen and Young wouldn't be too bad depending on his price tag.

I hope that instead of having 100 players on a list that we have only about 10 as we should be aiming to get our number 1 targets like Chelsea & Utd have done for years.

But he said to me that we actually made a move for Dzsu. And all news I read is that Juventus is in talk with him.

Lol, I'm not telling you to stop talking about him, just a cautionary tale of the dangers of becoming too obsessed.

Any old skool RAWKites remember Le Terrible with his strange Le Tallec fetish too? Though at least he had the excuse that Le Tallec was a Liverpool player.

And to be fair, I don't think Dzsudzsak will be a flop. He seems a very good player. Though I remember a fair few Sporting Lisbon fans saying from watching the two at youth level, Ricardo Quaresma could be a better player for us and had more potential than Cristano Ronaldo! This was before Ronaldo's breakout season after the 2006 world cup though.

We have bid for Van Wolfswinkel and Mexes. Also Adam and Young are big targets. As Ive said before, Baines agent has been sounded out. Comoli is also a fan of Enrique, so ID (IMO) would expect one of them two. s far as Im aware, we arnt showing any interest in Cahill. We have though also enquired on Michel Bastos.
