Did doubles with

Harrington  -   Mahan/Watney/Overton

McDowell    -  Mahan/Watney/Overton

The Harrington/Mahan double has a decent shot, although Harrington has let me down so many times.

Thorbjorn Olesen might be worth a nibble. Made an impressive charge through the leaderboard in the Sicilian Open on the Saturday when conditions were at their toughest, was really windy then. Also was windy enough on Sunday and he done well to close it out. 55/1 6 places bet365, not a price to get excited about though.
Similar story this week. Just not good enough on the Thursday and Friday probably.

Hope Hoey can hang in there. Would be happy with a top 6 place.

Damn... another bogey though..

Another stinking european tour event for me.  My in play Ramsay bet was my only hope but level par today wasn't good enough.

Palmer and Laird to produce some magic tonight hopefully!

God those Tiger chip ins annoy the fuck out of me

Plays an awful drive way to the left, standard lay up, horrible horrible wedge well over the green... looks a very likely bogey, but then still makes birdie, ugh.

Chip in at the Memorial still bothers me too

Lawrie -6 today FFS. But for one bad round yesterday it could have been so good.

Great finish by Palmer last night.

If only every hole was like the 9th for Lawrie... -7 for the week on that hole. Should have been in contention

That is insane on just one hole. Compare that to Olesen, +1 there for the week. Awful at such a short Par 5.

Olesen seems to struggle when the weather is good... does much better in the tougher conditions. Gonna back him in 2/3 balls in future when the weather looks rough.

Got some funds back off Zanotti.

Had a punt on him after 4 holes at 33/1.  10 each way returned £60 for a place.

Some funds back at least

Every time I have backed Donaldson in the past he has bottled it. Typical the time i want him to fuck up he doesn't.

I've had a speculative punt on Mallinger EW (3 places) at 100-1.

Was looking at the betting for the US tournament there, Adam Scott was top priced 22/1 this week?! Really hard to understand that one, far too short.
Haha... he's guaranteed to win after I said that. Only other time I criticized a price this year was McIlroy at the Honda Classic and he won...

Used to be a Scott fan but too many shit performances when I've had money on.

Just have to admire how often Tiger wins in those situations, always feels like it isn't in much doubt

Poor enough from Bo on last 3 holes though. Had a big chance on 16 to get a big advantage

Off on holiday in a few hours so won't be providing any wonderful insight shite opinions for the next few weeks.  ;D

Just done a couple for this week though. Jim Furyk in the Greenbrier around 28-1 and Mark Foster 50-1  in the French.

Hoping Jim will bounce back after the US Open disappointment and Mark Foster finished top 5 last year in the French Open round this course last year and played really well last week in Ireland.

Also done a 33-1 Tiger/Westwood double.

Pissing away my money this week on a Tiger Woods, Justin Rose, Tom Lehman, Miyazato yankee...

Like the look of Carl Pettersson at 60/1. T18th here last year and made the cut the year before. Way up the Strokes Gained Putting ranks and when you have to make lots of pars that should be important. Giving Castro another go at 175/1 after a solid performance last week, his stats are improving week after week and surely only a matter of time before he puts it all together. Last one is Ben Curtis at 66/1. Had a few quiet weeks recently, but ended up T34th last week, closing with a 68. Finished T32nd here last year when he was playing horribly, so hopefully that points to a liking of the course. Hard to ignore Tringale but can't be taking 50/1 on him!

Very hard to look past the favourites in France, so I've gone for a couple of long shots in Kjeldsen and Gagli. Lorenzo finally found some form last week, his best finish of the season and hopefully he can kick on on a track where he finished 11th last year. Few pennies at 220/1 won't hurt. Kjeldsen has 6 Top 20s in this event, in poor form but has to be worth a go at 290/1 on Betfair. Main bet is on Matteo Manassero at 60/1. 32nd and 26th on his first two appearances here, missed the cut last week but hopefully just down to rust and the course is really one that should suit his game.

Added a speculative go on Matty Zions at 649/1. 18th last week, 21st here last year and won the St Omer Open in France last year. Why not eh.

Just wrote my full explanation and the site fucking crashed.

Tringale, romero and english.  No research, copied palmer on the first 2 and willing to give harris another go.

Hanson, coetzee and wattel in france.  Hanson has had a few decent knocks here and is my main punt of the week at 25/1

Furyk/Colsaerts double

What has happened to Kaymer, +9 for the tournament, a tournament he has won before.

Westwood +10 through his last 12 holes, unexpected. Tiger Woods and Mickelson also miss the cut in the same week for the first time in their pro careers. Strange week.

Finally Westwood makes a par on the 7th hole today, shocking run of holes!

Also just noticed Casey shot two rounds in the 80s.

Backed Steele for a few quid at the start at 210 so that's my only interest at the moment. Also backed Rose and Cabrera Bello but they're not looking great.

Castro and Kjeldsen falling just short of places today at big prices, very frustrating! Poor round from Carl Pettersson too. No chance when the likes of Potter, Kelly, Beljan etc are at the top though. Mental leaderboard.

Didn't post this bet because of the mentalness of it. I have this South African friend who wanted me to do a bet for him online on Sporting Bet because of best odds on a horse and golfer he wanted to back, he gave me 30 quid to put 5 e/w on 2 singles and 5 e/w on the double. The horse was 33/1 (Pomodoro) which won on Saturday in a big race in SA. He smashed it in again on Saturday in singles, made around a grand on that, I only done the double unfortunately. The golfer he done at 66/1 was Coetzee (on Thursday evening the bet was done - not sure what price at the start). I done the 5 e/w double too once I seen it paid over 12 grand, so when the horse won on Saturday, Coetzee was top of the leaderboard too, got a bit excited then waiting for 25 grand to appear in my account. Oh well it didn't happen, fuck off Coetzee ya bottler! Pathetic effort on Sunday, oh well, was a fun sweat, until the final round started... onwards to this week.

The way Siem fucked ya over in the BMW was disgusting mate, in contention, then in the water 3 times in 2 holes... makes a few birdies to get back in it, 3 putts the last still having a chance to win and then falls out of the places, then he does this, jesus. Golf is frustrating.

Not excited about this week, just a bit of a preparation week for next week.

Could be the most obvious double going Stricker (winner last 3 years) & Donald (winner last year) 67/1.  €8w...  DONE!

Also did

Molinari/J Byrd €2.50 E/w
Molinari/DeJonge €2.50 E/w

CoalsertsJ Byrd €2.50 E/w
Coalserts/DeJonge €2.50 E/w

The last round of the John Deere was mad last year, might be a bit off with the odds but I think Stricker was 1/50 with 9 or 10 holes to go, 10/1 with 2 holes to go, still ends up winning in regulation with that brilliant birdie on the last. Stanley helped him big time though.

Fancy Justin Rose for the Open, so gonna double a few players onto him from this week. Sean O'Hair, Sabbatini, Petersson & Byrd all for small stakes and in doubles with Rose
