Luis Suarez leads the line for Liverpool in this afternoon's clash with Manchester United - Andy Carroll is on the bench. Listen live from 1.25pm GMT.

Fabio Aurelio comes in at left-back as Kenny Dalglish makes two changes from the defeat at West Ham. Maxi Rodriguez also starts.

Liverpool: Reina, Johnson, Aurelio, Carragher, Skrtel, Gerrard, Lucas, Meireles, Maxi, Kuyt, Suarez. Subs: Gulacsi, Kyrgiakos, Poulsen, Spearing, Cole, Ngog, Carroll.

Damn no Agger. The loss of Agger today is, I think, a massive blow to us, and I hope that our team can do well without him.

I spent the last 10 minutes trying to edit my original post! It looks like a busy day for the RAWK server today.

I'm most dissapointed that Agger's out. He's a big, big loss but one player doesn't make a team and all that. Educated guess for formation would be:

Reina
Johnson-Carra-Skrtel-Aurelio
Gerrard-Lucas
Kuyt-Meireles-Maxi
Suarez

I agree, but we have been quite poor without Agger in the past. I am hoping that Gerrard shows a bit of restraint this week and does not leave Lucas to deal with midfield on his own.

Nice post that Pheeny :D

Todays commentary team consists of:

SRAWL 0-15 & 45-60 mins
Azi (eckerslike ;D ) 16-30 & 61-75 mins
Aristotle 31-45 & 76-90+fergietimeohwaititisatanfield mins

Feel free to send PMs to any of them but preferably not to the person commentating at the time - they won't have the chance to read or reply cos we work them too hard.....bam bam bam bam ROOOOOWWWWWW you bastards! ;)

Choicest PMs during half-time are often selected and posted.

Erudite and/or amusing observations in-game are repeated at the whim of the recipient.

A reminder to all that the pre-match thread is locked at kick-off and remains so. No other match commentary is permitted (it just isn't, ask in feedback if you don't get why)

So the mod team will probably as usual spend most of the game locking player threads amongst others when people inevitably ignore the previous...... :P

There is a chat function if you want to feed your need for online, live discussion - I'll find the link later and post it, well, everywhere probably.....

Remember - our commentators are volunteers and are giving up their free time. Respect that. Cheers! :wave

Lucky you ;). My first prem game is going to be Brum in April! Getting to Liverpool and the price of tickets has been my issue (with no job) in the past, but I am to get there more often now! Looking forward to it.

Thinking a 3-0 thrashing is in order for today, with Carroll getting the last one off the bench.

thanks in advance for the commentary everyone

Cheers. Let's hope so a clean sheet and a few goals would be a huge boost in morale.

Pre-match interview with Kenny. More or less said Carroll was match fit but needs match fitness.

I have to say I'm quite grateful to be at home because I am grinning like the Joker after watching Kenny talk. He just has that feeling on me.

Very fast paced game. Unusually fast paced even. We look a lot more likley to create anything. But as has often been our problem we lack final product and a killer instinct

Sublime pass from Lucas to Kuyt. Not highlight material but a flawless pass nontheless. Kuyt's cross is blocked however and a (Gerrard) corner comes to nothing
