Nah I haven't, I'm just on the online sales page having a look. I've got 'New STWL pre-requisite' in my purchase history, and when I tick the ACS boxes it takes me to a payment page (just for the ACS), but if I don't tick the boxes it says smart card error. I'm just checking to see if anybody can actually buy one.

What position were you ? Just wondering if there actioning all 2000 purchase history or bit by bit?

Looks like a good selection of seats to pick from, how do they decide which seats will be STs as most are just dotted about except for a few blocks together like in the Paddock?
Rafa Benitez: "I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager. Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone."

Fair play. Good luck to you.

I'm living in hope it goes 134 higher than the 2000 initial allocation.

Just spoke to someone in customer services on another matter. Asked about when we can buy a ticket and it is only after you have been contacted by the club by email or phone.

Maybe. But on a 15 month 0% credit card they will. Also, for those who have just missed out, it may be better to wait a little until the club release a new batch of tickets down the line...even if this is in a few years time with potential redevelopment. The choice of tickets will be so much better. If virtually all the 2000 take up their allocation, those above 2000 lucky enough to get offered one will be taking the absolute scraps.

Don't get me wrong, if offered you've got to take it, but in time it could work out better with a better allocation in time (unless of course current season ticket holders can move their seats via the online system when they renew???). In the meantime, you'll probably get better seats via the membership scheme half season ticket thing.

I am not getting my hopes up as I can't see why The people in The 2000 would say no after waiting 13 years min. But like Welsh red says The money situation may come into play The fact you are going to have to purchase within a week, although don't think timelines have not been confirmed?

Well as you've both purchased, then according to the season ticket waiting list 'when someone above you becomes a season ticket holder your position will automatically update' I'd expect to have moved up at least 2 places.  But just looked and I'm still in the same place on the list.

I would imagine it updates on a daily basis rather than instantaneously.

Perhaps you're right.  I'd assumed that their term 'automatically' meant that the process was computerised and would happen straight away.

Yeah definitely wouldnt be instantaneous. Not even sure it'd be daily. I reckon they'll do one big update in a week once the season tickets have been sold

Knowing Liverpool's computer systems, I doubt their database is that good!

It will be computerised, but will be easier/cheaper to have it updating daily/weekly than daily.

Plus I doubt their is a real need for a daily updating.

But then why would they specifically state that it will automatically update? as a once a week update is not automatic in my mind.

But thinking about it I can envisage that there may well be some advantage for the TO if it isn't automatic.  Cos I was wondering what they would do if someone who is say at somewhere in the 8000's and went on the list in 1998 (as a few seem to indicate on here) and can turn up at the ticket office with proof, then how would they accommodate that person earlier in the list without looking as though the rest of us were moving further back.  But it wouldn't be apparent that we were moving back in the list if the position on the list was only updated daily or weekly.  It would be hidden by the number of seasies sold.

Automatic doesnt hint at any timeframe, it just means its done via computer all itself rather than someone having to take the info and update a separate database.

I suppose the word 'someone' as in 'when someone above you becomes a season ticket holder your position will automatically update' also made me think that the position would move with each sale.  Otherwise why not put something like 'your position on the list will be updated as season tickets are sold'.

Talking semantics now to be honest.

Its an automatic process, so the sales systems are linked to the waiting list with no monkey in between taking the list of ST sold and crossing the buyers off the waiting list. Thats all that means.

Anyone who applied after April 2004 hasn't been contacted yet apparently, so not sure how you can have a position on the new waiting list?

That's a good point, obviously It wasn't November 2004. I have no idea when I did then.

Bought mine around 3:20, email confirmation and its pending in my purchase history. If you'd have told me 6 months ago that I'd be sitting here today with a season ticket on the Kop and Kenny as manager I'd have sectioned you.

Needs to log in with his fancard and then go to the new bit on the online sales page and select his seat
