That brought a serious tear to my eye its a bastard of a disease and have lost a lot of relatives and friends to it.

Actually a couple of weeks there was a childrens hospital show on TV where something similar was also filmed. A little boy had a wasting disease and they gave him a tour of melwood then onto anfield and him and his mum and dad got to see a game and meet some of the players.

This is one of the many reason I support Liverpool FC - LFC is truly my family and I am one humbled supporter to know that a club values the life of our red fans and the problems they have to overcome.

Its great that the old guard is back and we dont give nothing away anymore The press are having to make up stuff again and ITK idiots seem to have gone for good along with the old regime. To me the King is bringing respect and traditional values that only he can understand and probably witnessed throughout his tenure at LFC. No one man will ever be as BIG as LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB..But Kenny certain embodies everything I want from an Icon and Legend of LFC he's humble, dignified and care deeply about LFC and the fans that support it. I hope that the next generation of LFC player and Managers takes things like this on board and make sure they are self-less as he is in the future.

Rafa bringing Kenny back was the proof I needed as Fan that he also understood the word true legend and icon and Kenny will always be that to me. Having supported Liverpool 35 years now I am more prouder and pleased about our future as I believe we are now in safe hands.

Well in everyone to everyone who took the time out to make sure that lad had a experience he will never forget and I wish the lad and his family all my prays on his road to recovery..

Like everyone else I was speechless after reading that.....the landlord thinks Southampton are better than Liverpool!!!!

You'd have a heart of stone not to be moved by that story...Kenny and the club showing decency and comapasion ... a wonderful thing, which makes us all feel proud of Kenny and the Club

We would never have heard a word about it from Kenny, or the club had that fan not posted the story up on the internet. Makes you proud to have such a humble dignified gentleman represent us. And well in to everyone involved in the club.
