If Button had held up Vettel for a little longer we probably would have seen Hamilton coming out in P1.

Hence why Button didn't.

Seeing Petrov driving this well is making me think "What could've been" about Kubica.

That was fantastic coverage. You could see Rubens pressing his kers on the straight out of turn 1 and then diving in too early. MSC looked happy to see his team mate out and Rubens make a mistake

I'd love to think he shouted 'BANZAI' in his helmet as he plowed into Rosberg there. It was like a move from an ancient Greek battleship.

Lewis complaining of left front tyre wear. I have a feeling Webbers 3 stop strategy will help him to get in front of Lewis.

Might do, he is 45 seconds behind though, with only 27 needed for a stop.

Lewis had been losing to out to Vettel by a second each lap.

DRS has been a failure here, looks like the position of the DRS area needs to be carefully considered. Would imagine places like Monza we might see i work though.

First 20 laps was alright but rest of the race rather dull.

DRS needs tweaking.

Brundle was very good overall on commentary.

Coulthard doesnt seem a natural summariser to me, early days though.

Horner mentioned Newey when talking about KERS, seems that he did play a part in not having a full blown KERS and only a mini one.

Red Bulls KERS is genius. If it's what the rumours say it is, it is completely against the spirit of the rule, and entirely legal.

Decent first race of the season imho. Much respect to Sergio Perez. Awesome dayboo, and di Resta too.

Rumours are it's a muchly simplified version. They don't have a huge battery pack, and they don't have an on board charging system. Essentially, they have a battery which is charged once (as is allowed) before going on to the track. They use it at the start, and at the start only, to ensure other teams don't get the drop on them.
